AN EPIC JOURNEY OF TRI COLOUR FLAG MEASURING 7500 SQFT FROM SIKKIM HIMALAYAS TO PAN INDIA TO ANTARCTICA. A Historic Journey from the Himalayas to Antarctica"
In a monumental tribute to India's rich heritage and unwavering spirit of unity, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) embarked on an extraordinary expedition titled "Mission Antarctica - 2021." Under the banner of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, this audacious journey witnessed the unfurling of the Indian National Flag, spanning an impressive 7500 square feet, across the icy expanse of Antarctica.
The World Book of Records, London, has bestowed recognition upon the remarkable achievements of Mission Antarctica 2021, elevating them to the status of world records. Among the milestones achieved during this historic expedition are:
a). On 27th November 2021, at the revered Mt. Vinson Base Camp, the Indian National Flag fluttered proudly against the Antarctic winds, marking an unprecedented display of patriotism and unity.
b) In a poignant tribute to the revered freedom fighter Netaji Subash Chandra Bose on his 125th Birth Anniversary, the team performed 125 sequences of Surya Namaskar amidst the serene landscapes of Mt. Vinson Base Camp on 5th December 2021, echoing the spirit of India's struggle for independence.
c). Continuing their saga of valor, the Tricolor was unfurled once more at Union Glacier on 6th December 2021, symbolizing the enduring spirit of solidarity and camaraderie that transcends geographical boundaries.
d). Undeterred by the challenges posed by the icy terrain, the team embarked on a unique MTB cycle ride at Union Glacier on 7th December 2021, pushing the boundaries of exploration and adventure.
As a testament to the indomitable spirit and historic significance of Mission Antarctica 2021, a documentary capturing the essence of this epic journey is Documented.

As part of Swachhata Pakhwada the team HMI along with local populant under took cleaniness campaign at Tenzing Rock, Kanchanjunga View Point and Kanchanjunga National Park. The team collected approximately 300kgs of Plastic waste in a single day on 7th December 2019.

This reminds me of my old days when I did the basic and advance courses in HMI. Such an amazing and beautiful experience it was ❤️ I wish I could be part of the journey again.
Need help. Do I need to go to different doctors? Like M.D, Sergeant, ENT, Dentist n all?!. After that have to go through all tests?! Kindly help, because it's seems very expensive and complicated. Thanks in advance.
