as his wife who gets widowed , are there legal financial benefits obligations towards the concubine if there is NO WILL ???

I once heard from someone who came from an insurance company saying that if a husband doesn't have a "will" in place and he dies, his concubine may come to claim that she get some of his money if she was getting financial support from him before death. Please clarify that.

I wish I could scream loud enough for young South Africans to listen to what I have to say about Black owned businesses being stifled for life by draconian laws, poor town planning , lack of funding high, security problems, high transport costs, inadequate infrastructure etc. 1.Most Blacks, in the main, did not choose to live where they are today. They were either removed from the proximity of the cities and dumped where the government saw fit to fling them, as far as possible from White and Indian areas which happened to be deserving of living close to the workplace , hospitals, CBD area, Hotels, entertainment venues like cinemas and clubs, sporting facilities, beaches and higher education facilities. The most disheartening thing is that since 1994 these shortcomings were never rectified and Black residential areas have remained as they were ever since. There were no zones demarcated for future business development. Huge townships like Soweto, Umlazi, kwaMashu and many others have no proper businesses because we were seen to have no potential for successful and thriving businesses. We continue to support White owned businesses and franchises while we have been relegated to only have spaza shops shisa nyama, shebeens, and ramshackle carwashes. There should have been high streets with all kinds of shops but instead we still have to dearly for transport to get to the nearest chemist, supermarket, bookshop etc. There is such destitution and crime from lack of what to do to earn a living and yet the problem could be solved by being serious about self employment and business start- ups in a structured manner. There is not even a vegetable and market to see in the townships. We are doomed to enrich others outside the townships we never chose to live in . The government is doling out grants instead of making facilities and opportunities available for township people to uplift themselves. Has this never dawned on the Small business ministry that something drastic has do be done to improve our lot in the townships. We deserve everything that everybody else has access to in this country. I wish I could paint a picture of these ideas.
