We went out to Vermont to check out a couple filming locations and some other cool things to see along the way. This was one of them, the Stowe Mountain Gondola located at 7416 Mountain Rd, Stowe, VT 05672. Such a beautiful property, Mountain Lake Lodge located in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia was were Dirty Dancing was filmed in October 1986 released August of 1987. We only spent a few hours here but plan on coming back and staying for the weekend, the food was unbelievable and worth the trip for that alone.
