I show and talk about the kinds of products available in this scale and present three of my own automotive themed dioramas. Here's a good channel for learning some HO scale modeling techniques, especially for structures: ww...

    whats the difference between 1/24 and 1/25 scale thanks

    • @DKScaleAutoWorkshop
      @DKScaleAutoWorkshop วันที่ผ่านมา

      1...just kidding. 1/24 and 1/25 refers to the scale of the model, it's a ratio compared to the real thing. 1/24 means that 1" on the model is equal to 24" on the real car, for 1/25, 1" on the model equals 25" on the real car, which means if scaled accurately a 1/24 model is slightly larger than a 1/25 model. Most diecast models are 1/24. 1/25 scale is most common for plastic model car kits except for the Asian kit manufacturers and Monogram which use 1/24.

    Man that blue is haaawt !! The 40 coupe and sedan delivery are my next two builds . I had to go grip a new winch cable and and lurked out he automotive paint section , might do a metallic something otherwise a double back ,suede , gloss . I ordered two of the coupe to ensure the same wheel and tire combo as the display will eventually be a triple threat display once i get ahold of the truck down the road . Nice build guy . Were the convert pieces and seats from the Phaeton with trailer kit ? Might do a convert highboy but thinking of doing the '34 five window while my '40 project is curing and what not . Man , have a good eve eh , Ruii , Canada .

      I'm not sure I'm understanding your comment very well. I don't know which kits you are talking about, no such thing as a '40 Ford phaeton. The kit I used is a Revell '40 Ford convertible, the wheels and seats and some other interior parts came from the Revell Super Stallion Mustang and I believe the engine is from an AMT kit, other than those parts it's all from the Revell kit.

      @@DKScaleAutoWorkshop Just asking if it was rom the '37 ford phaeton kit , the convertible top cover and seats but yeah never even thought of looking for a convert at all in the 40 .

    I found it interesting since I have never built a tractor and trailer. Vintage or otherwise. I will, hopefully soon, build one in memory of my late brother. He drove long distance for 40 years. He drove a R series Mack and hauled pelletized plastic. The R series Mack model kit is easy to find. But I haven’t been able to find a hopper trailer model kit. If you hadn’t mentioned the furnace coming on I don’t think I would have noticed it. Thanks, Dave.

    If you get any negative comments, number one just think of it as constructive criticism, if you take it personal, it will take the joy out of your hobby…. And it’s always nice to see a channel from where it starts, and where it ends up down the road if we all waited to have the perfect lighting, the perfect cameras and the perfect studio think of all what would be missed…. It’s about the journey.! Sorry for my two cents and thank you for your time!
