Thanks for video. I am going to have to check this before ordering some repair kit. Mine was hitting good then had nothing. No bad smell, no coil rub, no ohm on meter. I was trying to get the cover off and wondered how not to break it.

Same exact issue on my 2001 f250 Torque converter and/or bad oil pump murdered my trans today. Sounded exactly like that. RIP 😢

Not the trans, it was the shop... cheap parts.. I've rebuilt several..all have from 100k to 250k on my rebuilds.. 4l60e or A518s/46rh as well

I was having the same issue, So I bought a brand new torque converter, still had the same issue, so I then bought a brand new Flex Plate, Still having the same issue. So explain that?

its hard to tell what one your talking about when your bagging the other one out.

Mine doesn't make noise or smell, only delayed shift to 2000-2500 rpms in 2 nd & 3 rd gear. But shifts smoothly when it does. I'm so frustrated can't figure out what the hell is wrong with mine
