Glad I could help connect you with them! 🙂
@@diazable I’m a Maui boy that moved to the mainland as a child many years ago. I had a hard time finding Hawaiian metal bands. That use Hawaiian themes in their music. So I started doing it myself. I’m glad your channel popped up and showed me Ikaika
@ i understand moving around a bit. My family moved around alot growing up. Im glad i can be helpful to you in anyway. Suggest some bands to me so i can check them out and get them more attention
@@diazable There’s my band hint hint, wink wink, Ka’ai. On a serious note. A few bands I really like that are pretty underground. These aren’t Hawaiian bands. But like myself. They are kind of crusty old dudes. Mordant Rhed(Black Metal) Eat The Decay(Grindcore) Iron Casket(War Metal) Pious Levus(Death Metal) Vincent Crowley(Death/Doom) Goatamentise(Deathcore) Infuriator(Blackened Speed Metal) Warhammer666(Black Metal) I see you’ve reviewed Bloodbath and a few other bands I like. So I’m going to have to checkout your other videos. Have a good night dude.

It was probably more like 03 but they were just different. They had just released tears from the red and it was fire 🔥. Not really into the new single. I didn't even know they were still a band.
Legendary band. Song really stomps, reminds me a lot of the Versions era with a bit of The Tropic Rot thrown in
@@Strizz484 absolute legends. Ive heard they wanted to put all different versions of ptw into this song. Mix it up a bit
@diazable yup, Ryan Primack (guitarist and main songwriter) wanted a song that represented all their different eras. They even brought Derek Miller in to help write this song, he was their former guitarist and wrote a lot of their material up through You Come Before You (He founded the band Sleigh Bells after he left)

@@sebastiensanchezrodriguez8864 happy to do my part and try and help the underground community.
Its underrated honestly. Devour is one of his best tracks imo
there are a few tracks on herethat arent bad
Ngl this album is an experimental of country metal and paying homage of the genre he grew up with like Wallen and ernest. Most of his song writing comes from his experience as a country boy that listens and want to show love to the genre that started him like Wallen did. Its respectable. It's not for everyone since he was brought in as a country singer that was brought up by Florida Georgia and Wallen. Sometimes artist doesn't want the masses opinions but want what's true to him. And with this album some ppl relates and Jim Bob. I connect with southern culture.
@@stykkz8738 I’ll give him that he experimented for sure. I guess alot of the themes and the way he expresses himself were too straightforward and so it seemed a bit cheezy. Like anything there is probably a good way to mix these genres / pay homage to them in a better way. It just felt too forced. and true some music will resonate in some people and not with others. His music connects with alot of people since he has a big fanbase. Im from the south too ☺️ thanks for giving me more details about this release and him. Appreciate it
Thank you for reacting. Joy is amazing

We did an "Is It That Bad" on this album and it ultimately landed the #8 spot on my worst albums list. Hector also had this album on his worst list. Emily's voice is ear-piercing whether she's shrieking loudly or trying to imitate Chester in the studio. She's nails on a chalkboard. And the week after, Hector, JC, Rock of All Ages and I appeared on Live Listen Erased's "Controversial Artists: Where Do You Draw the Line", and Emily was one of the artists on the list due to her ties to Scientology and the Masterson trial.
yeah lots of heavy stuff around this album
Your lack of musical knowledge is amazing bro- hair of the dog is a cover song , the original version is done by a band named nazareth you stick to listening to emo 🖤 like your outro song for your video🖕🖕
Sfu rulez.
hell yeah brotha!
Yu not like

U don't even like 6' Under chump
Chilli from Live Listen Erased along with Hector, JC, Rock of All Ages and I did an episode of "Controversial Artists: Where Do You Draw the Line" last month. We talked about three of Motley Crue's members, Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee.
@@trollinginparadise1927 yeah they all have done some shady stuff
One of the songs, "Psychopath", features Ice-T's wife Coco and daughter Chanel screaming as if they were being attacked by a chainsaw-wielding maniac. The chainsaw sound actually reminded me of that Simpsons episode from season 5 when Homer comes busting into Bart's room shouting "BART, DO YOU WANNA SEE MY NEW CHAINSAW AND HOCKEY MASK?!", scaring the S**T out of Bart!
@@trollinginparadise1927 ohhhh i can definitely hear that in my head now hahaha
Hector and I did an "Is It That Bad" on this album. It was the very first "Is It That Bad" I ever appeared on. Both Hector and I gave it thumbs down! I was watching Hector's "worst albums of 2024" video and noticed he didn't have this album on his list! It landed at #5 on my worst list.
@@trollinginparadise1927 yeah i was suppose to jump on that episode but couldn’t make it. Im surprised he didnt put it on his top 5 worst lol
Oh shit. Good to see these dudes are doing it again!

Now if earthmover could just come back.
Live Listen Erased along with our pals JC, Hector, Rock of All Ages and Justin from War Curse and me did an episode of "Controversial Artists: Where Do You Draw the Line", where we talked about Emily Armstrong, Tim Lambesis, P. Diddy, Dave Grohl and Motley Crue [three members]. Unfortunately, just a few days after the taping of that recent collab, more disturbing revelations emerged about Tim Lambesis. A video began to circulate showing Lambesis abusing his wife.
Solid list, I’ll have to give these ones a solid listen. Some other albums that stuck with me personally were Final Resting Place’s EP, Fentanyls self titled album and Conditioned for Demolition from Haywire. Knocked loose definitely hit it out of the park though, they were what introduced me to hardcore (via a fist to the eyeball at a show…) and it’s genuinely insane to see them reach the level that they’re at now musically and popularity wise
@@ky9826 thank you for liking my list. I’ll have to check out some of those records you just metioned. And the fentanyl and hatwire albums go so hard!!! Knocked loose definitely deserve it with al lrhe work they have put into their crafte
Is it your opinion on what the 10 worst albums are or your personal least enjoyed records? Or 10 most disappointing releases? Like the Deicide one is bad because the have built your expectations up from past albums. Yet it would still be better than countless other albums in a vacuum. So its just a disappointing. Same thing with Katy Perry - if this was her debut, noone would think it was bad, noone would care. Sabrina Carpenter songs are all banger tunes. For its target demographic of teens and 20s it is objectively great new and interesting music from an experienced pop star finally hitting her stride. Its clearly one of the better pop albums of this year... so is this your own taste or you actually believe its one of the 10 worst albums of 2024 as per the title? Or is it just click bait? Theres a big difference between disappointing albums and bad albums, and an even bigger difference between objectively awful music, and your own personal taste. This list is a bit of a mess of all three. People do love lists though and you can use Sabrina Carpenters name to get outrage clicks 😆.
@@NowhereMan7 i love this point you are bringing up. Gracias. Hmmmm i guess i think the sabrina album is bad because they whole time the lyrics kind of creeped me out and made me think if a guy made this album lyric by lyric i don’t think it would be so successful. Like song juno is a methpore of how she wants someone's baby but in that movie it’s all about an accidental teen pregnancy so i feel it sends a really impressionable message that just feels wrong. Lol I might be the only person who might dislike that album for that reason.
@@NowhereMan7 your points on deicide and katy i get and feel those we're disappointing for sure
Vexing Hex sound like a Ghost clone. But with more modern production.
@@davelanciani-dimaensionx hmmm that's why i started this channel cause i never listened to ghost other musicians but now since im doing this i want to listen to stuff i personally wouldn't listen to and try and be objective as possible. Next step ghost listen ☺️☺️☺️

I did a video on the "worst albums of 2024" two weeks ago. Green Day-Saviors 8. Linkin Park-From Zero 7. The Offspring-Supercharged 6. Katy Perry-143 5. Six Feet Under-Killing for Revenge 4. Motley Crue-Cancelled [EP] 3. Inquisition-Veneration of Medieval Mysticism and Cosmological Violence [this is due to the disgusting CP allegations regarding Dagon] 2. Falling in Reverse-Popular Monster 1. MARILYN MANSON-ONE ASSASSINATION UNDER GOD: CHAPTER 1
@@trollinginparadise1927 ohhh sone hot takes. Im seeing alot of hate for that manson album. I kind of liked it hehehe
Update on Crossfaith: Bassist Hiroki had to quit. Wasn't publicly announced why, but from a couple of events and the overall timeline before a year long hiatus the band took because of it, it seems it was health related issues. The band needed a while to figure out if there was a way back for them or if they should just call it quits at this point. They decided they weren't done yet and added their support guitarist as full member. They now have two guitarists and no bassist. As far as I know, "Canopus" is a bit of a tribute anthem kind of song for Hiroki. I guess that's part of the reason for the last three songs being what they are. And personally speaking I think they're fine at the end like that. Either of them mixed in with the others would have disturbed the chemistry the others have with each other. 🤷♀️ And in regards to the drumming: I guess what you noticed on this one is that due to a couple side gigs for acts from different genres over the last two years, he's been opening his horizon and idea of drumming a bit and has been exploring that a bit. I like that he's working on advancing his skill set and style. Doesn't all have to be a 100% hit. It's ok for there to be a little bit of a somewhat miss every now and then. It's still better than someone who keeps doing that one and the same thing over and over again and yes, evolution sometimes includes "things that don't entirely work out".
that's nice of them to give a good tribute to their old bassist. cool background info. fair point on the drumming
