Kingdom Hearts was one of the few defining games that got me into developing video games myself. The music was a big part of that, and I'm utterly obsessed with it. Pretty sure he recieved a C&D after remaking KH1 gummi ship in UE4
En nearly died in a car accident and after months of hospitalization, turned to a form of Islam that sees music as dangerous. "Illegitimate audio arts are considered to be those that take people away from the commandments of the faith. Music that leads to drinking or licentious behavior is considered illegitimate. Depending on the community of interpretation, one can find devotional music legitimate, controversial, or illegitimate." He was interviewed by another gentleman that managed to speak with him for a few hours and detailed only the important bits of what they discussed, spurred on by the man in question having his videos taken down for using En's music after he had a change of perspective. I miss it. I miss it all so much. He couldn't just leave it alone, he ripped it away from everybody that loved it. En was such an inspiration to me. His remixes touched my soul in ways only the original tracks did. I'll never forget them.
this version is underappreciated while the nightcore version is literally running away with success please listen to this, it's beautiful on its own
