I love this! I have decided to try this as well. It has been hard for me finding a system that I can stick to and I think this might actually help. Could you do an overview of your budgeting journal though? I know it might be hard to show without showing your personal information so maybe just an overview or spreads you use? Thank you!!

Really enjoyed this, thank you 😊 I heard on a podcast once that someone used a "busy basket" which is full of half-read books and half-finished creative projects like knitting etc. I thought it was a great idea and it's not just in the morning, you could do it as a night time self-care activity 😊

Hi new viewer here - not sure why this popped up (maybe from watching minimal mom or dana white?) but happy for it. I left the video to let it settle in and found myself journaling about the idea of a basket/bag for me and I came back to the video to tell you I am honestly excited about it. I'd never heard of a morning basket and I'm very happy to be packing mine right now with all the things scattered around the house that I am often using and then looking for - scattered simply because I use them in the morning then during the day I grab 2 things and leave them where I worked on them, and then later grab a different book etc etc. One in the kitchen and 2 in the bedroom and my pens in the office or sewing room... It will probably become my MorninGo basket:) Drinking my coffee and looking forward to checking out your channel - and thank you for this wonderful notebook tour!

Good idea for separating your trackers from your day to day planning. Having a years worth of trackers gives you much more information. Nice system.

Yes, we did morning basket for years in our homeschool. Several different readings, calendar stuff, Bible study, etc. This is a fun take on the idea and I think will really help me for my own stuff in this season of life. Super inspiring --- thanks!

I like the idea of having everything in a bag. I have stacks everywhere and it gets messy!!

I don't get up in time to have a morning basket 😂 but I like the idea of a basket/tote with my journal, current book and pens all in one place. It is more of a nighttime thing for me with journaling. I've been stressy and depressy as some say and need to make it routine again. And I have so many notebooks sitting idle!

Feels more arts and crafty than bible time.

Ok - I think you would love Sarra Cannon’s Heart Breathings channel here on TH-cam. She has a 90 day planning system for writers that I actually use for TPT. She also posts a notebook challenge on how she plans to use her notebooks.

Love this idea. I had a basket with all my favourite notebooks etc for a while but then gave up on the idea. Like you I have lots going on in my busy brain and haven't tweaked how to capture it all in some sort of cohesive way. This has provided inspiration. Thank you.

Thanks for this idea! I've been wanting to start a daily scripture writing habit and have been trying to think of the best way to go about it. I do a lot of junk journaling and wanted to use my supplies to embellish my daily writing but I have so many supplies and tools that I overwhelm myself in deciding what to use. To pick a limited amount of things and put them in a basket for that particular use I think will really help me get in the swing of it. I have to remind myself it's not an art journal it's a scripture writing journal and that embellishments is secondary . This helps❤

I have a very similar china cupboard in a dark walnut (original)! We bought it for our 5th anniversary and in October we will be married 38 years! I still love it! You did a nice job of staining it!

I would love to know how you do budgeting. Im a new subbie so if you have any old videos on it please let me know. I struggle with planning and budgeting. I feel like i have too many moving parts. I have thought about just doing some Frankin planning.

I have seen these baskets done as a Sunday Basket, once a week detail planning. House, menu planning, budget, etc.

What was the little printer you had? I did look above in your description but couldn't see it - I have a printer at home but would love one just for small photos - first time on your channel and really enjoyed it - thanks

A practical question: what to do with journals and notebooks when finished? I just can't imagine keeping them term, mostly just need active processing. Trash? Shred?

I have a stationary, pen, and marker addiction. I'm also on a fixed income, so I can only indulge my addiction by adding things to my Amazon Wishlist, and wait until a sale pops up. Some products are very inexpensive at full price, so I usually don't hesitate to go ahead and buy them right away. Since school supplies are now a focus on Amazon, I am looking forward to the upcoming sales so I can eliminate several of the items I have in that Wishlist! I enjoy pretty, girly things, but the plain items are less costly. I'm not artistic in any way so I at least try to buy pleasing colors, just to mix things up. I have a small group of preachers I follow on the Internet, so I use a separate notebook for each Pastor. My tote is a cheap diaper tote that I got on sale, and it's not solely for morning. It's an all day tote, along with some other cheap organization items I have picked up over time. I love having all of my tools close at hand so I don't have to scrounge around my little apartment, looking for the one thing I want to use!

I love Erin Condrin (the store in Austin is my budget downfall!) but never thought of using one of the totes for my always hit or miss morning routine! I’m not fond on the pattern on the website right now (just looked) but maybe there will be other options in the store. I can’t wait to put my planner ( yes, from that store), my journal, and my Traveler’s Notebook in to one of these along with my language learning workbooks! Thank you! I would love to see a video on your hybrid second brain. I've watched Tiago's videos and read his book, but I haven't been able to really put anything into place that works well for me. While I don't totally hate apps, I'm very much an analog gal, too.
