Installing Steel Braided Brake Lines on my 2019 Yamaha MT-07 with ABS!
Today I run through a tutorial on how to install steel braided brake lines on your Yamaha MT-07 with ABS by installing the Spiegler Performance Parts kit.
This process is the same or near the same on any Yamaha FZ07 MT07 XSR700 or Tenere 700. It may somewhat apply to FZ09 MT09 or XSR900 but will vary. Overall, any bike with the CP2 engine will have the same set up.
While a straight forward process in the end. There’s a lot of small things to keep in mind which definitely overwhelmed me. But don’t worry! If I can do it you definitely can. I used basic tools and had no issues.
Hopefully this video is helpful. I’m by no means a professional editor and just had fun throwing it together in hopes of helping someone.

Great and well made video bro, just wanted to add that on the mt07 you can disconnect the fuel tank line with little to no spillage even with a full tank
Thank you! Really appreciate that. And thanks for the pointer I had no idea you could do that. Will come in handy when I eventually do an intake. I was so scared about spilling fuel everywhere lol
