      You can zoom the video in both axis to cut off sections. Or for more control, add a mask to crop.

    Does it scatter light through volumes?

      It responds the same as other lights in Engine. Lumen with volumetric fog will give you pretty nice results out of the box.

    Hey, the videos I added dont play when rendering how do you have to prepare them to play when rendering? Also some of them randomly dont play when I start the game but thats a problem I can try to fix later, I need to render something today

      I have found out "Video Playback in Unreal Sequencer - Quick tutorial UE5" for anyone else that is an absolute beginner at ue5. Now my only question is for the bug that ingame some of the videos dont play

      @@saliclothing Did you add a file media source, media player, and media texture for every single video you want to play? and did you place the video correctly in the Content/Movies folder and not Content/Projector/Movies (which is the default of the pack because of Unreal marketplace requirements )?

      @@polybound yes i did all of that. It also works in the render just not in the game. But it’s pretty random because some work and it’s always different ones. Especially the decal projectors are giving me problems but it’s basically for some of each class

      @@saliclothing Odd.. unless you have many of them and its bottle-necked somehow it should be able to play a whole bunch of videos. There is also no playback difference between the blueprints. For testing I'd suggest perhaps to make a new project, import all your videos there. Assign them to a plane or something in the scene like you see in the tutorials online, and see if they play without any issues. If there is an issue, its just a limitation of the engine or your hardware. If it runs well, import the projector pack and assign the videos there. This will guarantee things to work as long as you do what is shown in this TH-cam video.

      @@polybound hm okay I’ll try that. I have about 30 videos each in 4K so there could be some kind of limitation. In the preview it works though. Thank you!

    Hey, I am struggling with adding more media sources than two. I was able to add about 5 sources by creating more media players but I seem to have missed something because sometimes the videos just switch or dont play correctly

      Did you also create new file media sources? And media textures? and did you double check that they are all pointing at each other correctly?

      @@saliclothing Did you also watch this one? th-cam.com/video/jUbqZcYI-Zw/w-d-xo.html It's the same video but completely from scratch with a fresh new project. if you repeat the steps for every video, it should be OK. If that still doesn't work, please let me know.

      @@polybound yes for the first two thats exactly what I did but I am struggling with addign a third and fourth media file. MT_Colors and MT_presentation are already there so for me its easier to understand how to put them into the right channels but I dont know where I get new media spurces from or how to create them

    I bought the asset pack and now i can't play the video file in my scene .. Electra plugin is enabled no video is working except your demo video .. what is wrong with my videos ? any help for this ? i use BP light or material it's same in all

      It's likely either a bad video format (use mp4), or you didn't assign the path correctly in the "file media source" file. If you open up the demo level there is a short guide on what to look out for, including the correct folder path for the video files.

      @@polybound Thanks for quick reply i did all steps in demo or in video you made .. nothing played in media also the file included Presentation1080 not played .. just only GradientAnimated file is working well .. all other videos is MP4 and not player .. media player make buffering but no playback for video .. do you have discord or something else to give you print screen for my workflow .. i need help

      @@bolbolegypttuber Easiest is probably if you make a new empty project, import the asset pack, add the video you want to play, and send that project to me (polyboundstore@gmail.com) with a google drive or similar link. I can then do a check to see where the mistake is made. You can also send me an email with screenshots and all steps.

    Hey Polybound ! fantastic asset, just wondering one thing though, there is an issue when using anti aliasing, when the subframes render, the playback is still running like normal, any hint on getting this working good ?

      Not sure if I understand but: If it's antialiasing I assume you're talking about the smudging effect. This is a deferred rendering limitation. TAA might give slightly nicer results.. Maybe. If it's very important to you, you may have to consider forward rendering. If it's just about playing the video, you need to add a stop or pause node to the blueprint. Or disconnect the line for the video output so it never plays on beginplay. This way you can control the playback elsewhere.

      @@RemcoWillemsen hey remco thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm still pretty new to unreal so I don't know all the terms. I don't use this plugin for gaming but for video production. I use antialiasing from the movie render cue module. When I render 1 frame, it's divided into several (in my case 16). I don't have the impression that the projector pack takes this split into account and continues to render 16 frames of the loaded movie, even though in reality I've only rendered one frame, is that clearer? Regarding what you've said, I'll do some tests and see if it works.

      @@RavedeCrystal I haven't used the movie render queue plugin much myself, but the antialiasing setting should just be a quality setting and not affect the sequences themselves afaik. What does affect them is the autoplay feature in the blueprint. You are going to want to use a media track in your sequence to control its playback, and make sure you disable the connection in the event graph of the blueprint that autoplays the media. (and make sure play on construction is also disabled. It's a checkbox in the details panel of the BP asset in the scene). This should synch up the playback according to the sequencer rather than it just playing whatever it can process during the render.

      Yes it's in real-time. And I assume you are talking about the global illumination? In unreal engine 5 this feature is on by default (Lumen).

    So I made the "VideoInput" option visible but even still when I set a different video for another projector they all change to the same video each time the video is changed. Any advice?
