Nice. I just picked up a clean barely used one with only 10 hrs on it. Been too busy lately to really play with it. So hearing your playing has confirmed the sound I'm after. It sat in an apartment for 10 yrs., and only used when he flew in on business. Had to replace the pre-amp tube on the drive channel. Very happy with the amp. Also have a Peavey Viper 3 (modelling amp) with the wattage attenuator, that gets the job done at home.

Great comparison. I’ve used both in a live setting, also used the Cab M by Two Notes. Personally, I still use the PDi 09 as it just works with zero fuss. No power cables and it cuts through the mix. A little hi pass and lo pass on the eq, split the signal on the desk , hard pan left and right then add 20ms of delay on one side. It sounds huge front of house. I use the PDi 09 with EVH heads and get compliments on my live tone. IR’s never worked for me personally after trying hundreds of them. I was getting option paralysis 😂

I'm a left-handed guitarist as well you're probably one of the best left-handed guitarist out there I would put you up against most left-handed players however you'll never beat a right-handed player I just believe that no one is ever going to be a Steve Vai or Stevie Ray Vaughan or zakk Wylde and play Left handed.

Did you sell this guitar on Ebay around 5 years ago. I believe it's now in my hands as mine has the exact same dark lines around the base of the bridge and extremely dark fret board? It's an ES-120L from 2005 I think. Lovely instrument!

To me...this guy did more contribution to Hughes & Kettner in terms of how good their amp sounds in this short video than many of the videos on youtube.
