They are practically everywhere, best time is 7am, and from my point of view, site from where current is coming from, but not really rule, depends on current too. Faster current, more difficult to catch them.

@paperjeff3803 perfect, slow jigging, once you feel resistance, that’s it. But be ready for big strike, one time something very big took squid jig, I was not prepared, lost few moments, and fish run in the jetty, and cut a line

@@Dim_Senko_Fishing do u think that the jigs i use have a big impact? Like if I use a 5 dollar jig compared to a shimano. Also what colour do u recommend?

@paperjeff3803 yes, there are many sizes, colours, weight, and price, but in the end is matter of many combinations. Suggest you visit tackle shop, or online, and buy 5-10 different jigs and play around. Only what I found that as bigger jig, as less chances. I used yesterday 80mm long one, and added small sinker to go down faster, yellow/gold/red colour

Good point. I experienced oil spills, ships holes cleaning, by current oil is going to Bintan and Batam direction… never seen oil on east coast sands, only some light spots on surface

So as of today, the recent oil spill has not affected bedok jetty? As i plan to fish tmr night

Hey Jeff, I am suggesting to use both, one rod for cable car, second for bottom… very seasonal, sometime zero bite for one, and many for other and reverse…

Sure limit is there, season. Each year is slightly different, but normally Feb-July is the best season with April as a pick of activities. Rest of the year, is pretty slow. Last year was a bit better slow season. Let’s see this time

Hi Bro, I am not fishing over weekend. Normally few hours on Monday and Friday mornings. If you see me out n bicycle on Sunday there, shout, I will introduce you to someone who can show how. I starting my ride from Bedok Jetty at 7am, and about 9am coming again on my way back. Good luck, Sunday Golden hour would be from 9am to 12pm, highest activity
