    Solving world hunger is not that simple. There's no, read it and memorize, *NO* way to spend money one time and solve world hunger. It would be a welfare program with recurring costs, that would get more and more expensive over time. What happens when people are provided for? They no longer work for that thing. So more and more people would work less and less for their food, bevause theyre beijg provided for. The solution to world hunger doesnt lie in providing food, it lies in solving the underlying issues. Address the supply chain.

    How's about not being selfish and helping those who can't eat. Yes, it was mentioned near the end of the video around 10:40 $40 Billion a year. If those people can live for 25 years, that's $1 trillion gone, so factoring inflation possibly a decade (10 years) so they can get on their feet

    The reward for capitalists should be the knowledge that when their business profits and pays high taxes it fuels the livlihoods of all society. Today they simply hoard money and pay unreasonably low or even zero taxes after deductions and credits and loopholes. You arent going to be rich, so get with the program; we have to tax the wealthy and wealthy corporations so that even though we aren't rich, we [society] will always have shelter and Healthcare and decent quality affordable food. You know, the fundamentals of existence.

  • @jeremyhyde23
    @jeremyhyde23 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Don't forget kids, that you will NEVER be this wealthy. Most of you will be lucky if after 40 years working you have saved one million dollars. Don't let your politics become driven by the false notion that you will one day be incredibly wealthy. It is fun to think about, but the video is way too kind to wealthy people. It also should not be forgotten that you will NEVER be this wealthy. The answer to societal problems is not to allow the hoarding of extreme wealth in the hopes that they will do the right thing with it. We are going to prevent people from becoming trillionaires by taxing them more and more for every new tax bracket they enter [this already exists in theory, but loopholes, etc. make it useless]

    If they spend all the 5% returns, who woud factor in the inflation. Secondly, stocks dont give consistent returns yearly. Sometimes no returns for 10 years. In the meantime, if they just spend 5% yearly, especislly when it is down 50%, they will be bankrupt in 10 years.

      @FloppityFlopFlop777 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@uncutperspectives One party much more than the other. Until "Reaganomics" broke our economy, working Americans WERE living the American Dream under the social democracy of the New Deal. The Elephant Party in the room completely sold us out to corporations and their insatiable greed. Resulting in ever-increasing GREEDflation. Crushing the middle class, lower class, and the working poor. They have stolen the American Dream, and we have to fight if we want it back, because they're never going to create economic equity out of the goodness of their hardened hearts. Trickle-down economics is a LIE. And it's time for working Americans to wake up, unite our voices, and take back our rights. WE are the ones working hard to earn all these record profits, NOT the CEOs or the filthy rich hoarding all the wealth and just scraping out the bare minimum to us employees. And they wouldn't even give us that bare minimum if they weren't FORCED to by (hard-won!) labor laws. Workers' rights, fair labor laws, aggressive mortgage/rent caps, and equitable redistribution of wealth have got to become the primary political focus and the uniting goals of middle class and lower class working Americans. Hard work used to pay off in this country. It still would, if the corporations weren't allowed to hoard every red cent for themselves while we work our tails off making THEM rich. Identity politics BS needs to DIE. It's all a disgusting, lunatic distraction from the real issues while real people and families are out here suffering, losing their homes, seeing savings wiped out by inflation, cheated out of our rightful wages by insanely greedy corporate overlords, families falling apart because everybody has to work 2, 3, and 4 jobs for meager wages just to make ends meet. Many are even sick and unable to afford healthcare, or even time off to see the doctor. Workers have got to unite and raise our voices together. It's literally becoming an issue of survival. Divided, we fall. United, we've won in the past and we can win again.
