Ultra-protectionist policies are bad and expensive for everyone. Final assembly of our cars in Mexico and Canada was attractive because of much lower costs. If a tariff enforced, get ready for much higher car prices, as we pay the tariffs, not the car company or exporting country. Car companies will not "move back" to the U.S., too devastating for their costs. The costs of Trump tariffs will just get added to the car price. All this makes me think the next start-up car maker shouldn't be EV at all. We need one that goes back to the much more simple but bulletproof types of internal combustion motors. The less the better sort of speak.

Sorry guys employing an EV with enough power to challenge a gas-powered vehicle is not that valid. Technically you can pack enough battery bank and big enough electric motor to accomplish this task, however the real world sets in, Mr. Gravity seems to enter the room. These vehicles are VERY Heavy, somewhere over 1000lbs or more. Now unless you are going in a straight line and then limiting top speed this thing will be a DEATH Trap. Just think of giving a normal hot rod driver used to a much lighter vehicle hitting a curve hard only to experience centrifugal forces equipped with tires that are pushed to the absolute max due to load ranges. Simply things will not turn out well for this driver. Remember for racing there is a minimum weight limit in every class of track racing, but never a maximum weight limit, enough said. It comes down to just because you can fail to make it a good idea.

A few friends that have bled green for years have had so much trouble with brand new Deere tractors of the past few years that they are trying to get rid of them and move on to something they can fix. One had to borrow a tractor for the entire fall hay season because he couldn't get his "nothing runs like a Deere" fixed.

There is enough competition to over take Deere's disappearance in the industry. Let Mexico buy their products.

My daughter had 18 one till last year she got T bone car got 52k nothing I mean zero problems now she just bought another one this time Hybrid model so far no complaint and a lot of my co worker they all love it. For me my 07 tundra first yr water pump leaked & at 240k one of piston had gasket blew up
