Fun fact: You can have a pet follower protect your farm. But all I know who can protect the farm is the death hounds from castle volkihar if u sided with the vampires, and maybe the huskys if u sided with the dawnguard.

I made the mistake on making Sven a steward because he died. Highly likely it was the second dragon that appeared at the plantation. Poor guy, never been so annoyed at dragons now.

You don't have to go inside the house, as long as you're on the land.

Never kill him his quest line is actually quite fun and you get better weapon during it besides killing npcs is some pretty fucked stuff to do in elden ring

It seems that only certain followers are eligible to become stewards. I got the dialogue option with Marcurio but not with, Terkeethus or the merc from Silver Blood inn. I want another choice as Marcurio is my husband and my favourite fighting partner. Anyone know if there is a list of eligible followers anywhere?
