Franks Homestead
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 27 มี.ค. 2021
This channel is going to be dedicated to anyone who is wanting to get away from the busy life of town and move to the country. When I was a boy I was raised in the country, then grew up and had my own family, but lived in town. Once my children started their own life we sold the house and went back to the country at the ripe age of 45. Now we live on 7 acres and are debt free on the property. My goal for this channel is to show in my videos how I did it, what it took to do it and also how to do alot of your own projects so you can save money. Unless you have a large bank account, (which i did not) the process will be a journey over time to get what you want done without going into debt. It is worth it though! Best of luck to anyone who ventures down this path and i hope that my videos will inspire, or at the very least motivate you, to get up and get going.

Diagnose and replace a well pressure switch. #diy #howto
มุมมอง 9910 หลายเดือนก่อน
Diagnosing a bad pressure switch is easy to do. When it comes to a bad switch, just replace it and move on. If your pressure guage is worn out, replace that to. Total cost of this fix in Oct 2023 was around $58.00. Don't forget to open a hydrant or sink to relieve the pressure and disconnect the power supply first. You got this!

Just sprayed some grease in my ears, like your video instructions said, can't hear any more squeaking! Thanks! 😄
@@akarna69 LOL. Thanks for watching.

Oh…..I have to buy a back hoe 😂
You are only allowed to dig in the official site, it’s illegal to dig in the creek! Signs everywhere
@@JoseyWilds Garnet carried in public waters downstream is fair game. I didn't dig anything if you watched the video. I grabbed it with bare hands. Feel better?
Thanks, now my newborn shouldn't woke up everytime I took a seat.

thanks boss

What happens is the tear is a foot long. Wood is roted as well. Would I make a piece to reach each truss/frame?
@@17Scorpionking I think I would replace that whole rotted area also. Thanks for watching
Nice info buddy, thanks a lot. It worked on my chair

Can I use WD-40 lubricant spray? (Instead of the grease spray?)
Thr screws seem like a bad idea. Why not put another piece of metal on top with some pavers or something to weigh it down till it dries
@@goldinthegreen8593 I figured when I shovel snow off I would probably take that off also if I didn't screw it down. Thanks for watching!
It's really help ❤
@@hmzdu Your welcome.
I've been using silicone lubricant for a squeaky office chair, but it doesn't last. I'll try the lithium spray and see if it lasts longer.
Thanks for watching.
Thanks for doing this video. Going to give it a go 👍
Thanks for watching.
Hi, I have the same model 297370600 controller that needs to be tested, it's a paid test, I hope I can get your help and reply~

Thank you, this did the trick! I had the spray can, but I was applying it in the wrong place.😅
The end result is what matters anyway. Thanks for watching!

Another heat source would be a 20 or 40 watt reptile heater available from Amazon the will screw in the same as a light bulb. The danger with light bulbs are they are fragile and water Vapor condensing on them is also a danger.
Fair point although i have used this method along time and have not had any issues. Since regular bulbs are getting harder to find your idea may be where i end up going. Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
Awesome video just how deep is that well. I am now having the same problem only mine is not coming out of the connection on the bottom. My bladder tank literally has a hole in the bottom side of it now with that being said the tank is 24 years old. It is a water ace brand. thank you for sharing your video
My well is 250' deep. Things sure were made better back then. Thanks for watching.
I have to do this on a closed reel. Hoping it’s close to the same setup
I think the overall design is the same with the closed reel. Thanks for watching.

How much width did you lose in the opening?
If your talking about when the doors are folded back then the answer is about a foot. Thanks for watching!
thank you

would wd40 work?
Yes it would.
worked like a charm, sir!! Thank you so much...saved me a lot o' cash by not calling a repair guy or buying a new one!!
I am so glad it worked for you! Thank you for watching.
I used to plow our gravel road with my old D6 cat, but I only had a 10 foot blade, so it wasn't optimal. Most we ever got was about 10 inches of snow. That hardest part was trying no to dig down into the road, which made me wish I had a float position.
Yeh its hard with anything if the road isn't frozen. Thanks for watching.
Hey Frank, ours didn’t come with the stools. Are you able to tell me what size the screws are so i can buy some from Lowe’s?
I believe they are 1/4" x 3/4" long standard thread. Thanks for watching!
We ended up throwing away the hardware! Can you tell us what hardware was used?
I believe they are 1/4" x 3/4" long standard thread.
🎉
Awesome video! What are the pros and cons of plowing with a grader vs a truck?
Good question. Pros -can cut ice and compacted snow down to road base and clear the whole road using a wing. Cons - slower, can't carry gravel, chains are a lot heavier.
Great video. Thank you. Starting mine soon.
It works good if the pump house is insulated properly. Thanks for watching!

What’s the ratio for mag to water
No ratio. Just get the surface wet enough to be absorbed by the road then apply. Thanks for watching!
So pretty
Wow what a view
Appreciate it brav👍🏽

You are so easy to understand , awesome instructor!
I appreciate it! Thank you for watching.
Those are not ice bits they are sandvex teeth and they're for grading gravel roads
Your not wrong. I have used them for both. Mostly we used them for winter because the wear so fast grading. Thanks for watching.
