Hey, I want to start with FaB and would like to play Florian. I want to start the full format and not blitz. The obvious way would be to order singles. Would it also make sense to just start with a display of the Set in which Florian can be pulled and from where most of his cards are and then buy the missing singles? So I might have also a nice card stock and might have cards to build another hero from the set besides Florian. Or is the chance of pulling cards I need to small?

I was looking at her artwork, and she's holding a sword with an flail on the handle, o always thought it was the agony flail, but no, it is a sword, I wish it was an card, it would be very nice, have the flail and a 1h sword to use with Vy.

I just learned that Sutcliffe's note is pretty good to, for those times when there are no runechan maker in hand, they can easily make two/three runes, plus the one from Vynnsets ability, total of 3, just envelop in shadows two times and vemton banshee/vemton wraith to happiness, Vy is my fav hero, and no, I'm not playing competitive.

I love this series of deck building from scratch, the reason I'm here is to learn about the hero, the thing is though I could use some more explanation as to why X card is not good over others and at the end there a longer overview of how this deck could be improved even further or alternatives just to compare and better understand In any case awesome video, awesome series, I'm subbing and can't wait for the next character 'spotlight'!

I'm running Malefic Incantation instead of Runeblood Incantation and the Succumb to Temptation just because Rune Gate 3 is usually 9 damage and it means a blue for ab + one card every time just for playing around this card, and I'm all in for the mind games If you can pair Widespread annihilation with succumb, is even worse for people to stop the disruption I have tottally moved off of envelop and tunic (and arcane cussing by any means) I'm still on mauv tho, I really like the idea of forcing 6 Block on mauv + wail and then flail for at least 2 runechants even if I don't have the shadow non-attack

Can anyone explain how germinate works? I really did not understood, the only thing I know is that I decide the value of X

2:00 why would viserai give you a chant in this situation? the sonata off of creepers is the first non-attack and you arent playing a runeblade card after it? when you play triggers as its put into stack iirc

Can you do one of these for verdance and oscillio?

With germinate it says preform the action then repeat x times. So if x=3 u make 4 auras 8 if Florian is active

Just an FYI for the comment at 6:40, Cussing won't trigger off of Vynnset's loss of life effect. Paying life isn't the same as taking damage.

This is probably the best deck tech I have ever seen. And you effortlessly explain multiple lines as you explain each card without belaboring it. Everything is dialed up to 11. Never change.

Very nice. Me personally, I run all 3 colors mauvrion skies with 3 revel in runebloods in deck. I usually put the revel in runeblood in arsenal and wait for my possibility to go in with an attack action which has go again via SP or MS while having another attack action in banished. Then you simply play the revel in runeblood which will enable anything that‘s in your banished zone. you can also do it the other way around where you attack from your banished zone first with precollected runechants and if you then don‘t have anything in your banished zone anymore you simply get 4 runechants via revel and then attack with flail of agony or something from hand. God I love vynnset, I recently threatened 39 damage in one turn. tbf all the stars aligned for this one though

I would be interested to see the video you mentioned planning to make on Tear Through the Portal, it's really hard for me to believe that it's better than Mauvrion Skies. (Not only Red Mauvrion Skies but also the Yellow or even the Blue one). The upsides of Portal seem fringe compared to Skies being able to give Go Again to your Blue and Yellow attacks, plus the threat of the on-hit effect. The play that you mentioned where you Portal -> Wail -> Flail seems worse than doing the same line with Skies, because you don't need to lose life with Vynnset ability to get the second Runechant off this go-again Wail. As long as you don't close the chain between Wail -> Flail, then when you close the chain after the Flail attack Wail will see that you lost life to use Flail, and you get the 2nd runechant that way. (So with Skies you lose the option of unpreventable Runechant but you gain the upside of the on-hit threat and the ability to do this on 2/3 of your Deathly Wails that aren't Red). Similarly the play you described with Portal+Creepers also works with Skies. So unless you really highly value using shadow actions to get unpreventable damage the only upside of Portal vs Skies seems to be the trick of getting a free action point out of a Funeral Moon, but Instant-GoAgain Moon into using 2 action points doesn't seem much better/different than Skies into using 2 action points

You can use Tear Through the Portal with Requiem and Funeral Moon. You will see crazy combinations with them.

I thought deathly wail was one of your best cards, how come you are only playing red? Feels like a card that has good breakpoints all around so you wanna play all 3 versions no?

With the Briar LL, is Nebula Blade a clean swap or will you have to playtest more? Or do you plan to move to something new?

Will you put a third Sink Below instead of the Tunic? Or another Rune Flash for the go-wide turns?

So far most lines we have available are very weak to disruption, resource intensive and require on hits to land to give good value. Hoping DTD gives good support to the hero.

Will one single ping of unprevented Runechant dmg wipe all permanents with ward/spectral or just one? 4 Spectral Shields and on of those new 'ward 4 angels' will all die to activation of the skill? New Prism will probably be bottom tier then. Sounds like one of the hardest counters in the entire game for sure.

Do potions stay in effect for each turn. Energy gives you an extra action point every turn?

I know we talk about how Dash can pivot between game plans via sideboard, but Michael really showed the flexibility available to Oldhim as well. Amazing play all weekend long, and a joy to watch!

i dont see Fog down being playable to be honest. It costs 3 which makes most classes give up a turn to play it. Whats the answer on opponent side? Playing one arrow and my problems start from new.
