The Day of little fish (And 1 BIGGER Fish) Fly Fishing Colorado
มุมมอง 1692 ปีที่แล้ว
The water and conditions were perfect, but sometimes the bigger fish are hard to come by. It was a struggle to not go else where, but we stayed and conquered.....kinda.

Fly Fishing the Lower Mountain River Pocket Water
I tiying som e that are similar to thati like some flash works that's a good One
I'm taking that thanks
Nice I got lots of those I use smaller down size for bass working well with a brite head thanks for the video
Great looking fly m8. Is this mainly a pike/bass bug or is it also used for trout???
What were y’all catching them on?
What section of the river is this?
I might slap a fish mask on this bad boy
Great video and very helpful! I heard you say in the video that you use hen cap for the tail but the materials list says American rooster saddle. Are they the same thing? Do those feathers swim as good as schlappen tails? I love using schlappen for tails but you only get so many good feathers per bundle. Thanks in advance!
I used American rooster. Sorry for the mix up. You get way more useful feathers that way and are nicer but they are a little more expensive
Thank you for your help! @@highlifeflyfishing865
Nice tie. Thanks
The excessive gear is laughable
Who needs a “dead” drift? Nicely done Duron!
Alex actually ties his with two hooks.
Really liking the tying videos.
Great video! Can’t wait to see what you do next!
In my experience, after sliding the beads on the mono, I use my pliers to flatten the mono so the two pieces of mono stack better on top of the hook as they are tied down. Having the flat spot has kept the mono from twisting. Twisting mono can allow the trailing hook to ride crooked and throws the swimming off kilter. Just a suggestion.
VERY WELL DONE 👍,,, THANK YOU FOR SHARING AND YOUR DEDICATION IN CREATIVITY ,,, THAT YOU BRING TO THOUSANDS OF US,,,,, BE SAFE AND HEALTHY,,, TXS AGAIN..
Heck ya! Thanks for taking time to watch my channel 🤙🏽
WHy do so many streamer junkies tie exclusively or nearly exclusively with Loon tools? I havent found them to be as good as other brands. Not meaning any offense...
I actually am fairly diverse with tying tools, but I do like the loon hair scissors and comb. Can’t speak for everyone else 😂
Kinda looks like you know what you’re doing!!
Nice tie. I hope too see a video with this fly in action soon.
Going to try but it’s hard to get footage in the dark
Nice tie! Solid streamer - love those (especially in the color). Btw, sic tying “dungeon” - is that at your house?
Ya that’s my “man cave”
That is freaking cool bro
Thanks bro
Great video! And a beautiful "eyeless" streamer!
Awesome. I just tied 3 of these this week and then this drops. Good luck on your trip!!
Nice , should be able to dredge up some big browns on the White or Nor Fork . Thanks for sharing
Absolutely! Hopefully I will have some good content to share when I come back.
Nice easy tie , I do one similar but instead of craft fur use Arctic fox . Killer pattern used it a lot in Alaska on big rainbows and char but effective anywhere you want to throw a streamer . Unfortunately in some case’s in AK you can only run one hook so you have to cut one off . Tied some In purple and black and white and chartreuse scaled down just a little going to try them on Tarpon in Mexico . Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! That’s some good info 👍🏽
Nicely done brother!
Thanks Bro! Was hoping I’d make you proud 🤙🏽
I'm thinking about ripping a big streamer up and down spillway creek for a change of pace.
Nice. Simple not over complicated, well explained. Thanks.
Love the video! Your last fly recommendation landed me my PB to start off the year right. Keep them coming.
That’s Awesome!! Congrats 🤘🏽
Was just up there and did pretty good with pink squirmy worms under a bobber and stripping a black woolly bugger in the deeper pools. A lot of fresh planters with nubby fins. Never done euro nymphing but it seemed like there was a lot of that kind of water
I’ll be going in a few days a plan to try, should be cold in the 30s-40s. Is this a good time of year? Will they bite a rooster tail?
That was a Toad bro!
I'm so glad you finally made a channel! Now I can join you on your adventures!
All those little ones made y'all like the bigger fish even more.
I would have absolutely loved to have been catching those on my old Orvis Golden Eagle glass rod
Oh you know it!
Butiefull
Looks like awesome fishing man!
I can't even bounce a basketball that many times 😉JK Enjoyed the video. What's up Doron? Long time no see. Hope all is well
Sheesh. Good day
Looks like y'all are having a blast!
Awesome video!
Going to be back in lake city this Saturday. Let’s fish one day
Do you still have the Jeep also?
Nice time with family. HOW DID YOU BEAT CHRIS TO HIS SPOT???
😊
Great video!
Thanks, Man!
Best video so far. Is one of those girls your wife ? You need to take Ms Sue out like that sometime , she wouldn't have to be concerned with wading.
Mention a float trip the next time you book, and we can make it happen!
