I just blew a motor on a 18 model. Under warranty and the engine is being replaced by BMW. I must say, BMW does not fuck around with warranty claims. I am now kicking myself about not extending my warranty. I am hoping that I got the bad batch of engines, I don't particularly want this to happen again.

clutchcable of the RR is the longest of the s1000 bikes, R(naked have shorter. If you want shorter Cable you can take from Alpha there cable are shorter and lighter but the installaing is diffrent not same line ike oem(and take the oem plastikring of the nipple;)

Absolute useless remarks about the bike . No cruise control a deal breaker.... brakes are shit, throttle is doughy . All makes no sense . Blaming almost missing the turnoff on the brakes .... and to many F words. Good that you like your own bike better but if you review a bike do it proper.

I found out through some tinkering that the clutch cable isn't the reason why some S1000RRs want to turn right on their own. I installed an Akra Racing system and an Alpha Racing clutch cable, which helped a little, but it straightened out even more after I turned off the DDC. Now it tracks straight when I'm on a nearly level road.
