Step 1: Preparing the Brass Fittings
1. Attach Brass Pipe Fittings:
• Wrap plumbing tape around the threads of each end of the intersection brass fitting.
• Attach brass pipe fittings to both ends of the intersection fitting. This prevents leaks.
2. Attach the Brass Assembly to Water Pump:
• Position the water pump facing you.
• Attach the brass assembly to the left side of the pump (even though it appears on the right side in the video). It is crucial to attach it to the correct side for proper water flow.
Step 2: Adding the Strainer
3. Attach the Strainer:
• On the opposite side of where you attached the brass fitting, connect the strainer.
• Don’t forget to wrap plumbing tape around the threads before attaching to prevent leakage.
Step 3: Connecting the Water Lines
4. Hot Water Line:
• Wrap plumbing tape around the hot water heater’s threads.
• Connect the hot water line to the hot water heater.
5. Cold Water Line:
• Take the additional 20-inch faucet supply line.
• Connect one end to the right side of the brass intersection fitting.
• Connect the other end to the cold water input on the hot water heater.
• Use locking pliers to tighten all connections securely.
Step 4: Setting Up the Diaphragm Pump
6. Attach Filter Pieces:
• Connect one of the black-and-white filter pieces to the diaphragm pump.
• Insert the clear vinyl braided hose into the filter. This hose will draw clean water from your water supply into the pump.
Step 5: Building the Mobile Base
7. Cutting the Boards:
• For a large trash can (clean water): Cut a board measuring 20.5” x 14.5”.
• For a smaller trash can (waste water): Cut a board measuring 14” x 17”.
• Use an electric cutter if available, or get boards cut to size at Home Depot for free.
8. Attaching Wheels to Boards:
• Each board will need:
• 2 stationary wheels (fixed position)
• 1 regular swivel wheel
• 1 locking swivel wheel
• Use wood screws (#8, 1/2 inch recommended) to secure the wheels in place.
• Drill wheels into each corner of the boards.
Step 6: Testing the Water Supply System
9. Connecting Water Supply:
• Fill the 20-gallon trash can with clean water.
• Place the high-pressure braided hose into the clean water supply (trash can).
• Ensure the waste hose is positioned inside the waste trash can to catch used water.
10. Adding Weight to Hoses:
• Cut a PVC pipe in half.
• Attach one half to the clean water hose and the other to the waste water hose to keep them submerged and secure.
Step 7: Powering On the System
11. Power Connections:
• Plug in the hot water heater and diaphragm pump into a power strip.
• Switch on the power strip. You may hear a temporary noise until the pump fills with water.
12. Heating the Water:
• Allow the hot water heater to warm up for 25-30 minutes.
• You can turn off the water flow while heating, and it will still warm up.
• Once the heater has warmed, turn on the faucet to the hot water setting and check the temperature (adjust heater settings if needed).
Step 8: Final Testing
13. Testing the Sink:
• Turn on the faucet to ensure water flows correctly into the sink.
• Confirm that waste water is draining properly into the waste trash can.
• Ensure all connections are leak-free before using the shampoo bowl for clients.
Tips & Reminders:
• Always use plumbing tape on threaded connections to prevent leaks.
• Use locking pliers for tightening to ensure secure fittings.
• Check all hoses are securely in place before turning on the pump.
• Be cautious with hot water settings to avoid scalding.
Now, your portable shampoo bowl setup should be ready for use!

I’m not able to find the chart that gives all the measurements for each canvas head. Can you link that or send to me directly? The only think I’m finding is the how to measure your own head and apply those numbers to a small, medium or large canvas/wig cap, but not the measurements for each canvas head size so that I can do this method and have each canvas head size as ready to go. Thank you!

Thanks dear
Thank you for a very detailed and knowledgeable video. Great work!
Beautiful job! I love it! Thank you
What size shrink wrap bag did you use?
You can also use a hair dryer to do this.
@@jaybirdlady1407 it may not be as effective and could possibly put a hole in your shrink wrap
I’m making a upart wig and I have 3 bundles. I am going to double weft the bundles, so would I draw it a half an inch apart or an inch apart?
@@xi5lv if you want it really full I would do a half inch apart
What kind of thread are you using for the machine spool and bobbin? I use nylon when i hand sew.
@@portiamills-clark4945 Gutermann thread 1000 meter
Great job. thank you for the tutorial.
Dope 🔥😊
Can I use a hand dryer to melt the rubber down?
It may not be as effective as the heat gun
Thank you soo much for this video
Good morning i have a 24in how can i do it
Hi I watched this it’s very detailed, but I ended up with lumps in the wig, how do I prevent this, I didn’t pull on the weave or cap when sewing 😢
Same with me
Nice job 👍 great video
What’s the measurement for a 24?
Hey I thought it was six measurements ? How do we put the other measurements?
That's a great job!! Nice and full!! I missed how the wig cap under the frontal was cut off because I just noticed the underside of the frontal there's no more wig cap. The hair is so silky!!
@@andreabelinda1355 thank you, you would just cut the excess cap off close to the stitching to expose the lace fabric.
@dnicolebeauty_ Ok, thanks!!☺️
@ you’re welcome ☺️
Why you change
I saw on the other video you made you draw a line through the band
Hello, I am in Dallas to and do you do 1 0n 1 classes?
Very perfect explanation
This is the best video of measurements that I have seen. Will you give me the measurements for a 22 canvas head
22- canvas head measurements 13.5-front to nape 12-Ear To Ear Across ForeHead 12.5-Ear To Ear Top Head 15-Temple To Temple Round Back 5-Nape Of Neck
Thank you
@@dnicolebeauty_bless your heart. Thank you
Do I thread the bobbin ?
Yes
Can regular hair thread from the beauty supply store work?
You could use it but I would recommend a better quality like the gutermann thread sometimes the hair store thread can also be too thick or too thin which can cause issues during the wig making process
Hey what am I doing wrong. I keep breaking needles when I sew onto the wig cap? Also my guidelines don’t be equal
Hey girlie. I've made my 1st sewing machine closure wig and it's live on my channel 🤩
Hey!! I’m going to check it out
@Dnicolebeauty thanks love
❤love it
So do you see on the bottom band of the cap now. I thought you didn’t do that so you can have more room for fit
Yes you can sew through the band it won’t cause any issues with the fit as long as you have the proper measurements
Love your videos
Beautiful
Thank you so much for this video
Can you please explain the tape lines in the head and the measurements you use to find them in a detailed video please and thank you
The tape is used to ensure I draw the lines an equal amount of space apart. The tape is removed completely after the lines are drawn. You can choose to draw your lines 1 inch apart or a half inch apart it’s usually determined by how much hair you’re trying to fit onto the wig you’re making. I will include the link to a video where I’m showing how to draw the lines from the beginning. th-cam.com/video/Jy0ObTQDprI/w-d-xo.html
@@dnicolebeauty_ Thank you so much my dear sis
Thank you what density would this be since you doubled the tracks and did tracks every 1/2 inch?
The density isn’t determined by how close or how far apart the tracks are, it’s determined on how much hair is used such as the bundles plus the closure or frontal. I hope I’m explaining it right but if you would like me to go more in depth please feel free to email me Dnicolebeauty@yahoo.com
You sooo pretty you slayyyyyyed you have such a good skin save some for the rest of us♥️ my skins be looking like a rat
Thank you, good skin care starts from within what you eat and staying hydrated if you have any additional questions about skincare I’m here to help
Did you triple the wefts all the way up the wig or how far did you use tripple
It depends on how full you want the wig but once I get to my last 2-3 tracks at the top I usually just double or single the wefts
Great tutorial
Thank you

When the person put on the wig, especially with a closure, is it going to cover the top of the persons ear? Im asking cause I have a 21.5 inch circumference, but the problem is that the top part of my ear would be covered up from the wig.
When you transfer the measurements the wig shouldn’t cover the ear at all it should sit right above the ear just like a ball cap sits …I hope I’m explaining it right just let me know
