I too discovered this over 25 years ago. Really wonderful scent experience. Absolutely solid. I love and always will.

This was NOT an instant love for me, though I do love it now! I found it VERY sweet and almost a bit nauseating upon first application and was really disheartened (it was a blind trade)... But the second try was a month later (much better) and the THIRD (two months after the second) was when I REALLY loved it (and SEVERAL people asked what I was wearing (in a good way!))... I'm really glad to have it in my collection but my FAVORITE in this lineup is Encens Mythique... I find it a bit less sweet, a touch more salty and the ambergris shines just a bit more to me in that creation... Both are great!❤

For which occasions? Is it just for winter/autumn? Or can I also wear it for Dates or for an important business meeting?

How does this compare to 1932 in the Les Exclusifs range? I read somewhere that it's supposed to be a reinterpretation of Ivoire.

I have an almost full bottle of original formula in New Zealand. Found during a bathroom drawer clean out. How and where do I sell it?

I just received tester samples of this one, and also the edt in the hero line that came with an order from macy's. I loved them both so much I'll be adding the entire line to my collection starting with the edp. Outstanding cedar blend!

I have tried and very underwhelmed by it. I do like my Chanel fragrances and this one did absolutely nothing for me.

Adore this fragrance but alas it’s not what it was with longevity and projection, so sad.

Criminally underrated. Gatekeep this until you can’t

I bought it in Harrods in 2003 with a little handbag bottle that I gave to someone. I was offered a bottle way back online, but it was way too expensive. I kept the bottle, very beautiful. It looks like a column in a temple and it is also turquoise. I saw it in the customs at Cairo airport on 2005. Again years later I asked my friend in Alexandria whose brother worked there if he could buy it for me. Sadly it was not available. A pilot on a perfume site boasted that he bought all the perfume in England.

It was And it is indeed my favorite parfum ever ever. No body knows haw many times I’ve traid to find a similar one but it’s not possible. I can’t admite it. Mi ilusion is that one day maison Issay Miyake decides to launch again🙏

God, I miss this scent.

Dimitri, another reviewer said that it smells similar with Aventus Cologne, which i hate because of that mature, classic old school fragrance type drydown. Another reviewer said it smells more like Bleu de Chanel EDP on the drydown which i love. So what is it? Is it a mature scent Aventus Cologne-like or suited also for the younger crowd?

This one is beautiful and i do love mastic in everything. Mr Vasilis here in Larnaca, Cyprus used to make the most beautiful mastic ice cream ever! And this scent takes me back in my childhood. Nice video!

I bought this from John Lewis. I was looking for a citrus fragrance, but as a fan of the Guerlinade I was looking for one with more creaminess (for example, I like Blenheim Bouquet and Polo Blue but there’s a bit too sharp) The pistachio and iris is very consistent throughout, helping to give its creaminess. Reminds me of holidays in Mallorca.

Just stumbled onto this video whilst looking for "how to pronounce Le Feu d'Issey". You see, it's my most favorite parfum EVER. I luv fragrance, and don't feel completely dressed leaving the house without it, but my skin's natural oils make many frag. turn funny/icky on me very quickly 😞 Esp. florals (which I luv). Spicy scents seem to work better; but aaahh, Le Feu d'Issey! I still have some lotion & half bottle of parfum that I dole out sparingly. At least as far as how many days I wear it, bc when I do, I go all out! I've had ppl on the street ask me what's that delightful smell/awful stench? 😁 (more like it than not, just confused it's something a person is wearing) Issey Miyake was a genius, molded by some horrific times. Will be missed greatly, and should be remembered in the pantheon of brilliant creative minds

My father fought in Belgium and France during world 2. He recently passed away at a wonderful old age. I'm cleaning and catougling everything here. I found this old Chanel 46 which I assume he brought back from the war. Is it worth anything?

I dislike the bottle - i like to see how much perfume is there.This bottle design does not show the level of perfume. Ive still got mine from year 2000 i dont know why they discontinue perfumes when they are popular.

Hello again Dimitri. I wanted to let you know that I got a bottle of Malakeos, in fact, I got a backup as well! Such an interesting fragrance, it seems heavy yet not overpowering or bracing like other fragrances. Most people online seem to say it comes alive in the heat, which I would necessarily think for this scent. Cheers.

Useful. This is a reminder for me to get a backup bottle of SJP Stash. It is priceless. SJP did it right by researching and doing her homework before making this one. It is signature worthy and smells like nothing else to me. As for Ariana Grande Cloud, a great alternative is Red Temptation or Red For Him by Zara. They are, also, a much cheaper alternative. Hi, just found you. I’m in Kuwait and just tried the Privé. I have the original ETP and Dress Code. This beats them all hands down.

It doesnt smell as good anymore because they changed the formula for it
