I remember from the 1970's there was a huge amount open space there. You could drive along highway 60 and near the Badlands (do they still call them this?), you could actually see sheepherders. The 80's and 90´s ruined the Moreno Valley (strip malls, McMansions etc...)

How far is this from Hemet and where are the churches?

so much good areas but this place is paked with sheriffs cops stupid 215 freeway horrable always traffic meneffe life is good out there from LA it takes me like about 2 hrs with no traffic one time took me 6 hrs going back is dark u need alot of gas same time and food drink before u head out

A lot of people don’t know this where the Automall and the mall and the fluorescent sign up against Highway 60 they’re going into Moreno Valley that used to be Riverside raceway back in the day they shut it down in the mid 80s that was when there was nothing out there I grew up in Sunnymead which is now known as Moreno Valley Who Inc. in 1984 just a little fun facts And I Went to Moreno Valley high school the only high school in the area at that time 1982 I now live in Seaside California now I still have family that lives off pigeon Pass on box spring mountain where we used to go ditch school and go get high and drunk😂 it used to be called the swing it was a eucalyptus grove and a creek me and my buddies with did school go get a keg from his mom‘s bar oh yeah good times Lotta broken bones back there on the swing there’s still is the eucalyptus orchard but not as big cops used to come out there and shut us down

I lived in Moreno Valley for 1 month in 1985, haven't been back since. Been in Santa Monica for 35+ years now. Still, I'd choose Perris CA over any other state.

Shoot the same video in Dec 2022 It looks nice due to Covid newscum lockdown policy. There is way more traffic than that in Perris man and you know it Pppl Don't know how to drive in Perris.

Good job on the video and the editing. You got some excellent shots of the fire and the surrounding area. You also managed to get great footage of the first responders, and their support aircraft! Judging by the street shots, it looks like at least part of the fire is south of Hemet. Well done!

this place has lots of traffic and its a little town all hiden in the hills Perris crowded traffic left and right u brake ur car here litterly i love perris but the way city is designed kinda horrable sorry

this place is cool its by airport behind or DQ airea i love moreno valley the bomb i miss this area churchs chiken target food4less area ya but getto moreno valley is great area but far away from los angeles i travel this area few times take me 5 hrs to get there traffic

What is it like living in Perris?

I loved there from August 1999-2013..Bittersweet memories until I saw this video. I do miss Mo Val..I stayed on Ormista Dr. Around the corner from Food 4 Less on Alessandro. Pivotal moments of my life there. Thank You for the memories…💯❤️

Wow P&G burgers are gone. I move to Mo Val 87 one of the first burger places I went to. Sonora Grill and craft beer. Alessandro and Heacock is great!

It's really silly but my grandma used to live in Moreno Valley, I would visit her during the summers growing up and I've missed it greatly. This video is so relaxing to watch, reminds me of her taking us around town during errands or even sometimes to the mall. Thank you for making this.

I still remember when the lake first open. I was in awe and the fishing was spectacular. Use to catch big holdover trout and bass there.

On December 26 2021 I celebrated my 21st anniversary of leaving Moreno Valley with nothing more than sedan full of my personal possessions and moving to Florida, thank you Florida for my 300k condo , $250 000 in retirement savings and 15 year solid employment record. I could get none of these things in MoVal.
