I didn't understand 1. What are the monsters, they made it sound like they're 'woke liberals' coming after them...? (The Fox News reference, the fact they look human still etc...) 2. The ending?

Fabulous acting. But please help me: Did she know he was bitten by a zombie, he was going to turn into one himself and she shot him for it? I'm not sure if he mentioned it in the conversation with her as the tone was rather poor.

This is the second film I have tried to watch that has been shot almost entirely in the dark. Why the hell am I wasting my time on something I can't even see???

Plot twist. The girl wasn’t a zombie. She was just a very exhausted young girl who had to start eating her mothers arm because she was starving locked in the house for days with a zombie herd outside. She even stared at her family’s portrait 😢😔
