Iowa is more intelligent because it has better RADAR and SONAR and is capable for fighting at night time. Iowa is also faster. Iowa has better guns because it has been upgraded to have missiles and better anti-aircraft armaments, and has better range. Iowa also has better damage control systems and can also launch aircrafts.
YAMATO winner
HMS royal oak?
The German pocket battleship Admiral Scheer sank the most ships, 17 or 18 altogether. Most during a sortie against British and Allied shipping which lasted for 5 months, late Oct 1940- April the 1st 1941. One of these ships was the famous armed merchant cruiser HMS Jervis Bay. There was also a brief raid in the Arctic around July or August of 1942 when an additional ship ( a Russian icebreaker IIRC ) was sunk. There were even more successful German armed merchant cruisers that accounted for more ship losses, but these do not strictly speaking count as warships.
Hey thanks for commenting I meant warships I will fix the title
The Iowa class has better armor than the Vanguard bro...
Warspite sank docked ships in Algeria?
Not sure I could not find the answer.
HMS Hood isn't a battleship. Do the very basic of research please before releasing this AI slop. It's a battlecruiser.
Facts
Ya sorry I made this video a while ago and made lots of mistakes like I forgot about Hms royal oak. As for the battleship/ battlecruiser I know that hood, renown and repulse are battlecruiser but I called them battleships for the title I made an update video but I accidentally released the old one. As for the ai I hate the way my voice sounds in the videos. I will upload the new video tomorrow and it will just be the battleship. Thanks for commenting.
The armour of HMS Hood was upgraded in the 1930s. Therefore, she was a sort of Battleship!
Thank you
Hood was a fast battleship, repulse and renown where both battle cruisers
Did not know that, So the Kriegsmarine got their moneys worth out of their Battle CRuisers, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau I remember having a Time Life, Book of WWII Surface units as a kid, and thought they were just the coolest looking ships.
Ya they were much better value then the Bismarck class. Thanks you commenting
Bismarck is a little better in most aspects than Hood in terms of ship combat, and all of it adds up.
please have a human being do the commentary. that computor voice is absolutely horrible
Sorry I hate it to but I don’t like the way my voice sounds in the video. I want to in the future do them myself
One note - lattices masts were not as consistent in range-finding during high seas or rough sea states. They tended to have too much “give” in their construction. I would easily give the armament to Orion - given her superfiring 13.5 inch rifles and her advanced spotting towers. Great short!
I didn’t know that! Thanks for sharing.
No it’s the first ocean liner to be made
The first ocean liner was SS Great Britain
It wasnt so much the loss of the CVs as much as it was the loss of 4 CV carrier group aircrews. Those were almost irreplaceable.
Nuh uh
The Iowa was easily win against the Yamato from a greater distance
35km〜40kmの単体戦だったら大和の 装甲を貫通できないから大和が勝ちますよ
Bull sh*t that’s just what you think
OK, I live in the United States and I can very much tell you. This is just some redneck cowboy that made this. Because the stats between the Iowa and Bismarck are very, very close. The only major differences Iowa has slightly bigger guns Bismarck has much better armor.
I remember that ww2 ended in 1945 but idk which date
Bruh HMS HOOD is bigger than kms Bismarck
Big, powerful, sleek, fast, and with enormous firepower! True American naval power at its finest! It is nice that all four Iowas are still intact and being preserved. They have earned that right, and their place in American history. The proposed, but never completed, the Montana class would have been even more impressive with its twelve 16-inch guns.
I seen uss North Carolina
3 Battleships(Royal Oak, Barham and Prince of Wales) and 2 Battlecruisers (Hood and Repulse). So it either 3 or 5 not 4.
What about the Royal Oak in scape flow? And the two in Alexandria harbour by the Italians?
The two sunk at Alexandria where light cruisers Calcutta and Galatea.
Bismarck literally sank the hood
何故彼らは大和の装甲品質を劣っていると思うのだろう。
Speed Bismarck
Bismarck and yamato for sure
Meanwhile King George V, Roodny and prince of wales: Nice show!
And Arkansas I believe
Surprised the Hood wasn't one. Just goes to show.
Ya the Germans and Japanese had it bad
Yes and The Battle Ship Texas was there too I believe, and she is still around, undergoing refurbishing and Hopefully relocated in Texas😜!!!
Missouri vs Yamato
Cooool
Yamato gets both armor and strenght
Love this Edit kepp up the great work 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥

The truth is if Yamato met Iowa in battle you all know what will happen 😂😂
terrorists terrorists
Thanks for highlighting us!
Thank you for commenting. I have been to the uss Iowa and it was one of my favourite ships I have gone to as well as one of my first
i think iowa is longer than yamato

Its honesty fair for a lot of people to believe the Yamato is better but the Iowa is far better in many ways. First of all the Iowa was much faster, and more maneuverable. These aspects would make it hard to hit from the far distance, which is one of only a few advantages the Yamato has. The muzzle velocity is also much higher on the Iowa and the guns are far more accurate. The muzzle velocity is more than enough for the Iowa's guns to penetrate the armor on the Yamato. The Iowa was also able to fight at night, meaming the Yamato would only be able to win during the day. Last but not least, the Yamato was large and slow, making it a very easy target. The Iowa would win in the end.
Where did you get your information on muzzle velocity because I thought the Yamato had a muzzle velocity of 780m/s while the Iowa had a muzzle velocity of 762m/s
Yamato's armor wouldn't be able to be penetrated by Iowa's guns, it was designed to resist 460mm shells. Despite the Mk7 gun had similar penetration values at long range, it was still worse than Yamato's type 94 guns. Not to mention, Iowa's cannons had a large spread and this was shown when she bombarded for 5 days the Nevada, who didn't sink. Also, neither her or her class registered a hit on a vessel larger than a cruiser and the performance against the cruiser Katori was mediocre. On 46 rounds, only 8 shells entered and the ship was going at 1-2 knots while other sources claims it was sinking Yamato's Type 94 cannons on the other hand at 42 km had a spread of 500 yards, significantly more accurate than any other battleship of both ww1 and ww2 including Iowa. Also at over 20000 yards she scored 3 hits on the USS Johnston, these from a broadside of all the 9 cannons. At over 22000 yards she scored a hit on the USS Gambier Bay, this from a salvo of 6 shells fired from the forward turrets of the ships, and this made only by her Type 22 radar because the crew lacked visual of the ship until approximately one minute after Yamato opened fire. And lastly, at over 34000 yards, two shells landed near the USS White Plains. It's unknown if they ever hit the ship, some sources claims they did and other claims they didn't. In case they did, that would be the longest strike from a battleship in history. But even if they didn't, they landed so close that the explosion damaged White Plains so much that for the rest of the war she was retired. It is worth mentioning that none of these ships was longer than 160 meters, imagine on a Iowa-class ship, which is 271 meters long
@@animebattlefront_YT Just imagine if Yamato had the same key features as Iowa, having better air defenses, advanced radar and better propulsion. She already had great armor and weaponry.
@@strelis6615 Iowa was faster only cause her armor was much lighter, for this reason people likes to claim she was more maneauvrable (I could argue otherwise but I am not prepared on this topic). Also, although Iowa's fire control system was more advanced, overall when it comes to accuracy Yamato is more accurate than Iowa.
Yamato would be more than capable at night fighting due to standard japanese night equipment and drills being one of the best at that time
Lost during US’s involvement in WW2 or during WW2??? All tha ships that sank in Pearl Harbor wasn’t involved in WW2. That was tha reason tha US joined in on tha war.
By the way, greetings from Mexico
Also the winner would be called because he is literally more powerful, bigger, more armor, more weapons and the winner would officially be the inj yamato 🎌🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
Sir ngl you sound so stupid rn they had the same amount of guns 3x3 barrels but the yamato had bigger rounds but the Iowa would crush the yamato with its better armor pentation capabilities and its radar on the Iowa made the guns like 3 times more accurate and the uss Iowa was made with higher quality steel also i dont think the yamato is better since i need eyes to see the uss Iowa and a scuba suit to see the yamato i dont get what you guy see in the yamato it was a pos compared to the uss Iowa in almost every way and so i dont see why you said it would win.
Plot
Random ahh Torpedo:hiiii
@@Axofhasquityamato can shrug off 1 torpedo bro
@@renzjosephremo4143 no shEt everyone knowing ships knows that, im just saying how yamato got sunk by a bunch of torpedoes
😅Sorry, what did you think of that? Well, it's a lie, because as far as I know, the so-called has impenetrable armor. There are five cannons, a total of 15 cannon shots fired. They also have good weapons.
Eww, ai voice
Ya it’s not the best but I hate listening to my voice so until I find a better solution I am stuck with the AI
