wow....im actually genuinely impressed by the performance. It's basically like my old photonis GP tube. I loveddddd that thing it was a super good tube. I just wanted something with more edge so I got into an L3 Omni 8 tube to replace it but I think I might get a set of these now to play with

are you refering to One Tapik's incident? there was always a retaining ring, he removed it that's why the objective lens fell out when he ran with it. It was his fault for removing the retaining ring, he admitted that
@@coolbreezetg66 We had some JerryFBs and the objective lens did not have any retaining rings and the user would simply be able to turn them and remove them out of the housing. Good to know the Jerry31's have a retaining ring now. :)
As someonewho is trying to establish the cheapest NVG housing on the market, the PVS-69. Its extrmemly frustrating for me to see people supporting the chinese in their blatant IP violations of L3. US designers like myself really cant compete with the chinese because then L3 or other US manufactures will pursue us for IP violations while china is free to make direct clones or miodifed clones and eveeyone buys them up.

What are the specs of the tubes?
NT4 Green Phosphor Gen 2+ tubes, similar in specs to photonis xd4’s. Around 1200/1300 fom on average, my J31 have 1500 FOM. You can see in the video the part where I show the specs sheet

@@coolbreezetg66 i bought 5 entries at £25 apiece so converted to about $160 usd. Funny thing is ill probably need to spend quite a bit more on a mount than i did on the unit itself. Tactical waffles has infact earned a place in my heart as a result.

depending on what you need it for, you could easily justify buying a sotac g24 mount. just loctite all screws and you'll be fine. if you need to go to combat or do specialist training then go for the real wilcox mount. @@AdmiralNesence
@@coolbreezetg66 very fair, but even if i never do much ive saved enough money on dual tubes that ill probably go for the real deal. Though i will hunt for a good deal on a used mount for a few weeks.
