    Hey bro can you tell me how do you maintain them? I mean ive been reeding alot and I don't rly know are these real pig skin or synthetic faux suede.. I just applied leather creme on one of the shoes (I've always treated that way my suede shoes) I know that we shouldn't use leather creme on suede but if this is synthetic suede is other business.. I think it's logical thing to apply cream on them after washing then with water and letting them dry on the sun.. Because the leather becomes kinda hard u know easy breakable.. I have a lowa suede boots ive never moisturised them with creme and they made a hole... After stitching them I use creme and since then the skin is really fine and colourful. But what I do is against what google says so thats why I am asking😂

    They just came I putted them on aaaand.. maaan i've been born for these. Really comfy and I immediately remembered childhood and the pain in the knees in the end of the day (I mean that good feeling pain when tired😅) but mate you forgot to mention these arent exactly barefoot shoes.. They are pretty tough and ankle supporting NOT that flexible for sure!

    • @averageliving4Life
      @averageliving4Life 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @maksitooobg2367 glad you like them!! I think as a overall they categorize them as minimalist. Minimalist gets slightly interchanged with Barefoot. I would say these aren't the most Barefoot like their vapor gloves. Biggest thing is how flexible the sole is compared to other shoes and the drop from forefoot to heel. If you ever try their trail gloves you'll instantly know these are more of a Barefoot shoe than trail gloves!

      @maksitooobg2367 I honestly couldn't justify wearing the five fingers now a days unless I used them strictly for working out or running. The Wrapts, I check the site weekly because I'm already ready to buy a 2nd pair. I love them. Only downside is being so waterproof, my feet does sweat a little.

      @maksitooobg2367 I usually tell people to not plan a whole day to wear just them. If your feet get sore, you'd be stuck in them until you make it home. I personally love the sore/ feeling the ground sensation.

      @ I understand what you are talking bout because you know I am from eastern Europe as a kids here we walked ALOT barefoot or with flat sneekers with no support so I know that feeling at the end of the day and it's satisfying yes. But I also admire to the modern trekking shoe and comfort.. You can't go with these where I am going with my tactical LOWA, but you know I want something for you know casual walking the dog going on the beach (where you need easy put on/off shoes) aand idk should I expect that I am gonna get so tough with wearing these even to go shooting with my AK in the mountains? Do you have 2" vent cavity under the roof sheathing? Also if you do some math, you can find out how many bags you need to put in to determine how well it's packed. I counted 20 bays, 16" on center, 14" depth(minus 2" vent cavity) and 32 foot long. So 16"x14"x384"=86016 cubic inch, convert to cubic feet by dividing by 1728 =49.8 cubic feet, times 20 bays = 995.6 cubic feet. You want 3.5-4.0 pounds per cubic foot, so 995.6 * 3.5 = 3484.6lbs, divide by bag weight 25lbs = 139 bags minimum, 159 bags for great job. But don't worry too much about it, it's mostly a horizontal plane so if it settles it won't create any holes in your insulation, you might lose some R value though.

    • @averageliving4Life
      @averageliving4Life หลายเดือนก่อน

      @MurDocInc vent is on the exterior under the metal roofing. Above sheathing. Smart roof membrane to vent out above open gap sheathing. These were 16ins tall. But yep. Once I went back to recalculate I came up with about 190 bags. I put in 183, I'll probably get the machine again to fill in some wall cavities around pipes and wiring and puff out 2 roof bays I think are lacking a little.

    are these really foot shaped (barefoot-ish) shoes? I'd like something that has very wide toe box, yet has the protection from debris.. so a classic barefoot shoe whould not be good for me, but some said that maybe these are as wide as barefoot shoes, are they?

    Why did you put in the two thick areas of slab? Its where you started laying in the concrete.

    My slop goes to nothing. My lofts start at 4 foot with roof pitch going up. Building built in dressers there. And a shelf open to first floor small side of built in. Make an L with corner studs turn 90 degrees from rest of wall. Then can put thermal break L in corner. And studs each side of thermal break foam. Is what we do to insulate the corners and thermal break. drywalls hate floating corners though. So we do cut thermal break and add some drywall nailers. We mostly do timber frames. Because easier to hit r values with thick ask walls.

      Missed this comment some how, really good points. Starting the Loft at a higher point like 4ft was a smart idea. I didn't think of that. Could've created a attic space if I needed for hvac! Great ideas!

    I haven't figured out what I plan to spend per sq ft. I live my life on a budget. We paid 16k cash for 10 acres. Dug my piers and raft foundation by hand. Doing timber framed skillion cottage with masonry north wall. Earth ship style off grid, passive solar, no tires, no berm. Better off insulating because northern MI. I was gonna try for a passive house. But air changes. Using cmu block because moisture issues with icf. Masonry loves to wick moisture. Using mineral wool insulation. Gonna leave rafters exposed and insulating outside of sheeting. I toasted a chainsaw cutting post and I have put a point well 20 feet down and it flows. So got another 1000$ into well, outhouse, fruit trees, and bee hives. The i joist 3.5x16 are 134$ for 32 feet and 2x12 by 16 25$ will need to cut some in half. So will need 70 2x12 by 16. And some 2x6 for lofts and overhangs. I was planning on putting a bent/post header across the middle any way for snow loads. I do have video and pics of piers and 30 inch diameter log. Because something went wrong. I hit hard pack within 3 feet in test holes. My piers go down 6 foot to hard pack. My roof is 1000$ rafters, sheeting, underlayment, and shingles. Will need more lumber for insulation and more sheeting to go over insulation on the roof. Insulation and windows will be around 16k. I do masonry work so have the block already. 1.25$ for 8"x16" block. Plus septic system and real well later on. Not hard to wrap 60k in a project. Plus slate slabs and masonry veneer stone. Doing it out of pocket. So hoping to have a skillion pavilion up this summer. And then will start on walls and masonry stove/heater. While timbers dry. Once I move there I will add 2 more 24x24 sections.
