I honestly do feel sorry for the Bears fans, this is the kind of game you would expect from the Minnesota Vikings or the old Detroit Lions teams (before Dan Campbell ). Out of all the losses the Bears have to the Packers, this is by far one of the worst and most painful. Just a kick in the dick - no other way of putting it.

caleb is a victim to be fair, one of the worst o lines, who cant protect him for shit, eberfluss being eberfluss right now, and caleb simply having his first year in the league trying to make it work, cant fault him playing bad if he isnt accustomed to the pressure in the nfl, while having barely any protection, he then has to back off alot to prevent sacks, which makes his thows longer and harder, and ruins his confidence

Caleb Williams is a very talented QB who has everything a quarterback needs to be successful. To criticize him so harshly so soon is unfair. Although he has what looks like a great WR core, they don't get open consistently. The O-line is dreadful and cannot get any push in the run game. They get fooled on stunts all the time. The coaching staff hasn't put him in great positions to succeed with the play calls and designs. The Bears organization screwed up when they didn't replace Eberflus in the off season. They should have hired a new head coach (Ben Johnson) and staff to work with him and give them time to develop together. Instead, for the third time in 8 years they are going to fire a coach a year after drafting a 1st round QB. I still think Williams can be the best QB Chicago ever had (not that hard to do), but can they figure it out before the organization destroys him?

Anyone else ever ask WHY? Why do the Bears who have arguably the shit show seasons always end up with some of the hardest schedules. Yet KC has b2b sb's and gets a cake walk schedule? What the fuck did McCowskys do to piss of the PTB?

They don't pay for coaches, and when they do its the cheaper brand of coaching. I'll give you a reasonable example. You have a chance to pick up the number one draft pick and a coach from college he has played with. Or pick a coach he's never played with and has done ok, with a journey men qb who have bounced around until he's gotten up to speed.? Well, normal and smart thinking people would say, take the college coach he knows. Build on the strengths he's already matured to in his production from college. Instead, let's test a new unproven OC coach where the team he was leaving didn't even try to stop him or resign him. 😂😂 And why in God's green earth would you have a 1st and a 9th, in the draft and in your brain? You should've been hearing. "The offensive line needs help." You have a chance to get a franchise qb and a beast of an anchor at either left tackle or right or anything to hold up a qb for 3.5 seconds. Oh, you sign a wr. Because they rode an airplane ride together.. good call. So we have a leaky offensive line EVERY year. 🎉 at least were trying for a top 10 in this year's draft as well. As an Arizona fan who can't stand the Packers, this was a bit disappointing because the Bears and Browns and Cardinals all tend to have a lot of these letdowns. You learn to live with it, like being in an abusive fan relationship. I always stay with the Cardinals, no matter how many times she has let me down.

May we never hear "generational talent" again. It's not true, it never was true and it's too much pressure on the kid. With some competent coaching, he'll be fine. Just not another Mahomes. And that's okay. "Williams has to play better" is fair. "Williams is the reason the Bears suck" is not. Nobody wants to hear this, but rookie qbs generally don't play consistently well in their rookie season. Stroud and Daniels are anomalies. They are not the norm. Different qbs develop at different rates. Bottom line, there are multiple issues that need work. The o-line and competent coaching being the main ones.
