This is my own rendition of the classic song You'll Never Walk Alone. The two main reasons for a me wanting to record this song was... 1) I've been an advert Liverpool fan all my life...🙌 and 2) The actually lyrics of the song are very meaningful, encouraging and powerful... Especially in terms of, helping people to come together in times of grief or celebration of someone something. I originally came up with the concept in about 2014/15. And with a dear friend of mine and brilliant producer Platts aka Sanj Patel set about creating and record the original works. I love my reggae music and so does Platts, so we set out trying to make the music sound as authentic to the reggae genre as possible, while still making it sound unique in its own right. I think we managed to achieve this thanks to Platts. It was originally released on my (BE My Girl )EP) that was released in 2016. In early 2019, I set about revamping the song one more time, to make it sound a bit more current and lively... I always thought my original recordings were too slow, and we ended up raising the tempo up to at least 90 bpm while still trying to keep it within the reggae genre limitations. I'm extremely proud of the song and hope that everyone who hears it and listens to it, can appreciate it for what it is. My version of YNWA.. My Love to one and all....
