Stoicism is essential to current day PTSD treatment. The VA set me on the path to stoicism, although they never mentioned the actual practice.

If you have read Chrysippus of Solos and the other Stoics, you will know that they do not postulate a materialistic monism but an idealistic monism. The Logos is what we call God today (or Brahma, or Ik Onkar, the One, whatever your religion), it is part of nature and the universe but that notion is a form of panentheism and not pantheism. They do not say that God "will be created or destroyed along with the universe" or anything like that. The Logos subsists to everything because it is not reduced to matter - which is its subproduct. i am really glad have found you. All of us, I think, perceived the correlation between Force and Nature since we were kid! I would ask you what do you think about the sentence of Master Yoda: "If you follow the Path of dark side, It Will dominate your Life Forever". Is it true?
