Our current media team consists of:
- Aisling Bludworth, Del Norte Reporter
- Bryce Evans, Del Norte Reporter
- Ethan Caudill-DeRego, Del Norte Reporter
- Monique Camarena, Del Norte Reporter
- Persephone Rose, Director & Humboldt Branch Reporter

6:18, the next time I go to Brookings (because I live about 2 1/2 hours north of Brookings) I'm going to check those things out at the library!
What was not mentioned was that in May, 1943, a Japanese balloon-carried fire bomb exploded near the Southern Oregon town of Bly and killed school teacher Elsie Mitchell, her unborn child and 5 of her pupils. Thousands of these large, paper balloons were launched to fly high and ride a fast stream of air and then descend on the West Coast of the U. S., for the purpose of starting fires. Elsie and her students discovered the unexploded bomb in the woods and tried to drag it out into a clearing when it detonated. This program by the Japanese was mostly unsuccessful and was discontinued.
Thank you! I just started listening to this and my first thought was of the memorial outside Bly. It’s an attack that was intentional and should never be forgotten.
This just popped up on my feed. What a treat! Your writing is strong as ever, and your creativity is bold. I smiled through the whole thing. Super proud of you.
If you look around the west coast you can find pill boxs for world War 2 dad was a history teacher so got to go see a few some interesting cold war sites as well
Great video🥰

The WY trappers association would hold Rendezvous on the Old Mountain man sites.
I love Crescent City and love that they are celebrating their connection to my favorite childhood movie. Hope to make it back to this one day and when it really gets huge.
Nice work!! We had a lot of fun at the forest moon festival
I love his artwork. I am greatful I had the opportunity to purchase a couple of his paintings
Sorry, but they are not a church that follows King Jesus's teaching. Don't be decieved, False prophets are in the world. And they will take heed of seducing doctrine of devils. Know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. They promise liberty, but they themselves are the servents of corruption. Repent! And he will her from heaven.
You need The Lord Jesus! He loves you but you must repent. He is mighty to save you from all uncleanliness and inequity. He will bind all you wounds and heal your broken heart. That is why he died. For all of us. Repent, and he will hear from heaven.
This event was hosted by the United Methodist Church. Christ's love is not an exclusive commodity, and you are not its gatekeeper. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
@@ADockterlol homosexuality is condemned in both the old and new testament. Methodist churches may as well be social clubs with light Christian theming, they have no history, along with most protestantism. All serious, historical branches of Christianity condemn lgbt
🎉❤🏳️🌈
I used to go to this school😔
I was following the occupation of Cal-Poly Humboldt facility and saw the actual video from inside taken by the protestors showing it was them who instigated the violence and assault of the officers trying to remove the obstruction of the doorway , The officers only used force to defend themselves.
It is so evident that the majority of the students and the ill-informed people supporting them have failed to learn history. There is no such entity as Palestine, That was the name the British gave to the area of their occupation through WWII up till 1948. Egypt, Lebanon parts of Syria, Jordan and what is now Israel and the Sinai were part a British magistrate. The name Palestine comes from the Roman name given to the area during the Roman Empire called Palestina. Gaza and the West Bank have always been part of Israel since it inception over 3000 years ago. Islam was not invoked until less than 2000 years ago. Also if you ask any of these so called protesters about October 7th of 2023 they will deny it and say it never happened even when it is all documented by HAMAS themselves. If Israel wanted to commit Genocide, they would have carpet bombed the whole Gaza strip and been done with it. Nobody raised a finger when Turkey tried to commit Genocide against the Armenians back before WWI. And what about the German genocide against the Jews, Gypsies, Jehovah Witnesses, the mentally ill, those with birth defects and a few other sub cultures. The word genocide is so misused. It means the COMPLETE annihilation of a given foe.
I wonder if these kids, many of whom I guessing are "progressive" have studied up on how "regressive the Palestinian culture is. Most would toss them head first off a tall building if they were gay. They need to read up more...not even some Arab states will take in the Palestinians..Ive read that 90% Muslim moderates in Europe would vote to "outlaw" homosexuality
I'm so happy we all pitched in and paid for their student debt..
There were universities that resisted divesting from South Africa too. But divestment is inevitable. Keep up the great work.
‘Let’s be honest, peaceful protest gets ignored’ OK - but don't complain when your violent actions bring a violent response.
This extreme mistrust towards the media has often happened at these protests. At every protest there seem to be protest enforcers who say that "the media" would be lying and that they should press on and continue the occupation (oh the irony) without trying to convince anyone of their goals. These people seem to have a core of conspiratorial populist radicals.
Wait a minute...I like this woman with the boyest figure wearing a shower cap...she's in favour of school vouchers 3:05
FREE PALESTINE BY ANY MEAN NECESSARY
How does protesting in Cal Poly Humboldt "free Palestine"?
@@westofeden23 Were you already aware that Israel is the only apartheid state in the world and that there are 7,000,000 Christian and Muslim Palestinian refugees from Jewish racist mass murder and ethnic cleansing?
feel free to go over to Palestine and free it
Yes free them from hamas
Free Palestine from Islam!
OMG 46 persons and 1 dog...I'm calling (like old King Cole) for the governor to activate the National Guard!
Thank you for covering that actual voices of the protesters.
3:06. ‘Let’s be honest, peaceful protest gets ignored’ If you’re suggesting violent confrontation is necessary, you should be careful what you ask for.
Fantastic to see the pro-peace movement making its presence felt on campus. it's about time
Well if you call provoking violence, damaging public and private property, graffiti and trespassing pro-peace then you are really screwed in the head.
People ignore you because you stand for a bad cause
Explain how demanding the institutions you belong to not be complicit in ethnic cleansing is bad?
