A demonstration of evolution's new fitness program " kickness training" by Davide Silipo ( Instructor of evolution Kung Fu) and Adrian Li ( Instructor of Boston University Wing Chun). Kickness training ultilizes kicking and footwork from traditional kung fu combined with modern fitness exercises to effectively tone and sculpt lean legs muscles and burn fat.

At least they understand what Bruce is aiming for. Not that fancy crap that china has people doing. I been seeing a lot of films where they had a jet line do guy. All he does is screetch and do unbearable poses. I even saw a video about how they criticize american jkd. Stupid.

yes he did he reached the level he wanted to be at and found faster ways but trapping persay is trapping and breaking stucture and sifu ted siplified it and the punching refinment and explosive foot work and understanding distance and broken rythum while fowing closer one would utilize his elbows kness head buts and simple joint breaks and the refinement is so high that the explosive principles the essence of boxing and fencing in all the ranges the 3 ranges with just like i said simple traps its far more effcient with the boxing

So what is left to teach?
it can be taught why ? because at the beginning it was build with a structure and a blueprint to follow until later Bruce decided to make it a philosophy. this is where everyone gets confused. it was Linda lee and Dan inosanto who went against Bruce wishes, both didn't want Bruce art to die with Bruce and so Linda lee gave Dan inosanto the go ahead.

I think Ted toned down the trapping.. Bruce dropped the trapping in the last years of JKD before his dead - please double check source as i am not sure.
Hi Daniel. My sifu trained under Ted Wong extensively. From what I know, you are right that Bruce Lee had stripped out most of the Wing Chun trapping due to impracticalities. He realized that continuous trapping was unlikely to happen and wasted time and energy. He only kept five basic traps that were used for rapid response: Pak Sao, Bong Sao, Jut Sao. I forget the other two. Though you have to remember, Jeet Kune Do's strategy and general structure is still rooted in Wing Chun methodology (i.e. longest weapon to the nearest target, controlling the center line, hammer principle, economy of motion, guidance of the punch by the elbow rather than the shoulder or the hand, etc.) I have to check with my sifu, but if you notice, even the straight lead punch (the first and main attack learned in JKD) appears to be a fusion of the lead jab from Boxing and the straight blast punch from Wing Chun.
I definitely prefer Wing Chun. I'm not into boxing
