Learn how to handle fish. You dont lay them down on your tube to measure them if any of their slime comes off they are likely to die from disease from the lake waters or stream waters. Leave them in the water and take a quick pic with them in your net. Dont handle them so much.

Love that lake caught 30 inch rainbow out there 2 years ago he was just shy of state record for weight he was 5pounds 11 punces just shy of state record took me almost 40 mins to get him n on 5 pounds test line

It’s a serious walk down for only being a mile. The pitch and the loose “rocks”… things are darn near boulder size.

I pulled a monster rainbow out two days ago at about 8 feet of water depth right by the trail coming down to the dam.

I caught a six pound cutthroat today at Horseshoe Cienega.

first time I came across your videos, just to let you know big cut throats seem to show up middle of July to end of August at big lake I've caught quite a few over 14 that time of year. Don't know why I only get small ones earlier in the season. I enjoyed the video and love tubing in the white mts.

Great video and congrats on the monster catches! Sure wish you didn't name drop this spot though... Its one thing to tell a friend, its a big bummer to see it plastered to the internet though. Only saving grace is how hard this lake is to access.

Pretty decent fish. Check out some of the white mountain lakes for some real big ones. Last year 20” was avaerage out of big lake. Some were well over 30”

Great post. Caught my personal best trout there as well, 24inch brown, it was epic. Fishing from shore with a floating line and black woolybugger, just got lucky I guess. I'll never forget it.
