We were confused towards the end of the video between lifts Borest and Plans-Frara. We never took the latter in bad visibility on the Orange route a few days earlier; it was Borest. Happy to ski down that run in better weather today.

Gorgeous ! If only skiing (equipment, the skipasses, the rent for the apartment .. it adds up :( ) wasn't so expensive. A sport for the "upper 10,000".
Fortunately it is not THAT expensive (compared to other holiday possibilities) if you plan well ahead. Cheap flights, public transportation, inexpensive B&B accommodation, own boots (supposed to last several years), basic outdoor shell jacket (not ski specific) and pants. Skiing used to have a luxurious air to it, but I do not need it. The slopes and the landscapes are worth the penny pinching.
@@nyquist5190 This is what I thought, too. Maybe it'll be doable someday for me, pennypinching.
I’ve stayed in a zero-star hotel in Courchevel almost at the foot of the ski lifts. It was a triple room with the bathroom slightly larger than one you find in an aircraft. And we went in late March. You can find bargains if you’re flexible and know what compromises you can make and what you won’t.
@@halimahmad1022 Hey, I did not expect an answer - this is so great to here and I'm sure it'll be doable this way for me. Love this video so much.
Home run, not via home run
Wow!!! This is amazing. You're the pro skier. Let's be youtube friend. Good luck my friend 😍😍😍👍👍👍
Which runs are these?
looks like the runs just below peak to peak and main village gondola: that's emerald "playground" (lots of greens, slow zone, really fun place to learn)
It's Whisky Jack from Roundhouse (cable car station) in Whistler, past Emerald Chair along what I think is called Olympic Run (which was not actually used during the Olympics) past the mid-station all the way down to the village. It's completely Green all the way down.
