I signed into each of my channels (I have three), and then I typed in your channel “BossBeauty91” and subscribed… so that means you have a few extra subscribers… Does that make sense? It’s me, Sue Johnston, from Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. So, here I am helping to support you and your channel. I found that in time when I first began posting, in time people offered comments which gave me an idea of where my channel could go, and… I guess that’s why I ended up with three channels. My first channel had lots of ideas, being creative, making things, DIY projects, and camping. It wasn’t until I put up my camping video that my channel grew. As I look back on that, for some reason my camping video hit the search engine and that was the video that gave me 800+ subscribers and over 4,000 watch time hours (the video “Two Seniors Camping” eventually hit 100,877 views). I tried posting camping and related videos over the winter but my numbers fluctuated, hovered around 800-900. It was maddening in a way. The next camping season arrived and I posted more camping ventures, but not all of them did well. Strange how it all works. Two or three of my camping videos gained around 10,000 each. My numbers grew again, oddly enough, each time growth came in August. I’m beginning to think August is my magic number. Someone said the reason my channel was not growing was because I posted knitting and then camping each week. The campers did not like the knitting and then camping knitters did not like the camping content. Finally, after a year I separated the two and gained channel #2. It is slowly growing and I’ve found (so far) that “shorts” are like a billboard or calling card, drawing people to my channel. Then as an experiment I started channel #3. I wanted to learn all the techniques, try each one, especially the ones were people said “do this….” And your channel will grow. I tried the suggestions, but so far it seems none of them have panned out. Then I finally got some comments and people seemed to respond well to my videos (in channel #3 - Grandma’s TH-cam Channel) they responded to my comments about aging. As I write this, I’m thinking… Darn, I need to do a video on this…lol… so maybe I will. But you can say you heard it here first. Anyway, this is me, helping support small channels. I have a large, a medium and a small channel…lol… Cheers and Merry Christmas .
