the grind is the fun part. there isnt a single game out there where you progress through armor tiers and hit end game and it opens up a whole bunch of content. thats why its called END GAME. yall spent your 10k hours farming gear and are disliking the game leaving negative reviews all sorts of shit just because they dont have a solution to something they literally cannot fix. yall try and sit there and come up with end game content that would be fun for more than 5 hours. like i understand the pearl crons argument but thats a separate topic.

I literally never heard about this game and installed it yesterday after watching a gameplay video but sadly I wasn't impressed, as a new player who's clueless the game menus and systems are too complicated and the UI feels like I'm using an accounting program on windows XP, they really need to scrap all of the UI junky stuffs and scrap a good amount of those systems. Most MMOs nowadays they either release with few systems or they started moving away from having a lot of them. When you watch a BDO video on youtube you get crazy hyped since the combat montages look very cool but the second you're in game as a new player you really start questioning yourself if its wroth investing your time in such a game

the reason i quit game becuz upgrade gear system, so pure luck, i wish i can use force enhancing so i just spent my time and joy in PvE, PvP.

the only good thing about bdo is its combat, the rest is trash. The gambling system to upgrade gear is trash and predatory.

BDO is great but if you are looking for a competetive PVP but you are a casual player only, = You will be really upset because 5 years ,plus a bit of real money to spend for cron stones, this will not even get you close to reach the most powerful END GAME GEAR like DEC sovereign and DEC Kazarad

Pvp is dead due to red karma, marnis realms and lack of end game purpose or end game content. Also dp and ap are broken and big fights feel like an aoe clusterfuck rather than skill based pvp.

Nice but I will pass. If thıs game wasnt pay2win. It had the chance to be among the best mmos out there. Probably overtaking WoW and FF 14. But no easy money was their choice. But at least we will get crimson desert thanks to it.

Fix the New player experience and give people a reason to grind for End game content and maybe BDO has a chance.

Would be nice if u wont have to pay 3 subscriptions at once, or if they atleast merge all kama buff, book, and valuabe pack together in one, paying 45e per month to play the game is nto worth and lets be hones u rly do need those if u wanna be competitive in the slightest

So what exactly do you think are the issues with the game? You didnt really make any comment on what specifically is a problem in your opinion except a general lack of content. But mostly just that the game is "in a sad state". The reason im asking is because as you showed in the beginning its a point of contention. Honestly the game has had the same problem since release. CRONS. It has just gotten worse with the path they have taken regarding gear and the cost of crons+requiring them for any real progress, and so people are finally waking up to it being a problem(though you could look at it the inverse way and just say the enhancement system is the problem which is 100% fair. gear regression im sure is the primary reason the majority of people who look at BDO thinking it looks really cool but ultimately decide not to play.) To clarify, crons existing arent the problem, the acquisition(or lack thereof) of crons is the problem. And yes of course lack of fun, interesting, meaningful content. a big issue here is usually whenever they add content its either ONLY group content or ONLY solo. There is no player agency for how they want to interact with the content. Theyre forced into it. The new party boss blitz for instance, if you dont have a group of 5 people youre sh*t out of luck and thats trash design. Awesome as an option, dogsh*t as a requirement. Player agency is good and is low effort to implement while heavily increasing available content for all players.

I like the game but now Throne and Liberty also dropped and we all are playing it. There are definitely a lot of us which will switch to other games than BDO.

BDO is over the game now is sliding into the zombie stage where a lot of games float around like Aion etc. BDO NEEDS open world PvP and guild wars. But the decided to cater to vacation players. It’s done and over. You can also see in the def commentary that the ABSOLUTELY NOT care TF the community says. The forcefully destroyed there game and I think most powho did quite lately will not come back. Now the best move for them is to go full blast super casual anti PvP (what the did the last years but just more) bc casual vacation players are now the vast majority of the game.

GW2 have rly good ide and they just need to copy there system.

MMO nowadays are lacking basic aspects like exploration, purpose, goals, social interactions, and show off accomplishments. While players are used to cool things from many games. But companies have no excuses; they can just copy what worked in other games, but they won't out of laziness and/or pride. We experienced it with New World. Clueless Devs don't want to learn. Aion had the best PvP reward system ever: Earn abyss points from enemies which increases your Rank. Higher ranks give more points but also lose more. And you could buy PvP gear with points + medals you got from participating in faction-Fortress wars. It had invasion Rifts to go enemy territory with level and number caps. And there was a massive place where both factions clashed with 360 degree flight combat! And higher ranks could also transform into an OP champion. Nothing in mmo history ever came close to Aion pvp. BDO could easily divide their servers into factions with incentives for extra drop rate for farming in enemy territory, getting points, ranks, secret trades, treasure exploration. Occupying a city in enemy servers would grant discounts, timed buffs and bonus silver when selling. Extra chance when enhancing. etc They can go nuts with this... Maps needs to be more interesting, more densely packed with content, verticality dynamic events and quests. Game overall needs more reward system. PvP and hard pve content should provide Pearls and crone stones. Dungeons need to provide exclusive items and relics and permanent crystals that degrade with use but recharge from items from certain grind zones. The most potent is bound and lesser is tradable. There have to be powerful enemies in the game that require high gear to clear and rewards cash shop items or exclusive skins and titles to show off and maybe a little bit more Ap or other exclusive benefit. And not with a 0.0001% drop chance. I have more 3x ideas but why bother. BDO devs don't care. That's the worst part. They are just doing the minimum for players. Bells and whistles for cash.

How is it that a game thats been out for 10 years and just now getting around to the idea of adding quality group content?? Why was that not obvious? Why was it not sooner? Need a main focus thats not grinding, hoping they add more loml 2 style content because every patch im playing double dutch because im just looking for the right time to jump back in.

I honestly think what they need to do is a fresh restart of the game with all the new content ( all the new classes and etc ). I think that would bring players back.
