If you add a 4th step to add 2% of the original figure (easy to do) to the total in step 3, you get a much more accurate result

@@swtxthankunext_girlI wouldn't say that it's that accurate, now there are factors contributing to it, but for me it saids I will be only 6'0 which thats kinda cap for one reason, im going through my first growth spurt ever, and im 5'10.5 or little over that at age 16, so it's really not that accurate as you considerate when it comes to growth spurts and accelerated growth, so they are really not that accurate as you may think it is. So I will only max out like 6'2 or 6'3 if my first growth spurt ever, continues for another 2 years ish.

to convert 40 ounces to pounds you can divide by 16. 40 / 16 = 2.5 pounds, or 2 pounds 8 ounces.

You can convert feet to inches by multiplying the feet value by 12. 8 ft x 12 = 96 inches. Hope that helps!

I usually divide km by 1.609344 to get miles. (~1.6 km/mi)
That is also a great way to do this conversion and works out to the exact same result!

You can convert inches to feet by dividing the inch value by 12. 18 in / 12 = 1.5 feet. Thus, 18 inches is equal to 1.5 feet, or 1 foot and 6 remaining inches.

how do you explain 3.28feet in calculation but actual in steel tape measure is 3.37feet?

It's easier to consider that 1m equals (about) 3 feet. Then, 5 m = 15 feet. And 30 feet = 10 m.

Whats the line before 13 cm side?
I used the second method converting 174,000km to miles and the answer I got was different from what google give me.
That makes sense - the second method is meant to be a quicker way to convert, but is not 100% accurate. As we mentioned in the video the results will be close, but not perfect using the second method.

When we converted manually 60 oz to lbs, we got 3. 75 on a calculator but on paper it equaled 3 and 12 remainder. What does the 12 mean?
Great question - the remainder 12 means 3 pounds and a remaining 12 ounces. Since there are 16 ounces in a point - this would be 12/16 pounds, which is equal to the decimal value of .75. So you can say this as 3.75 pounds or 3 lbs 12 oz.
Thank you so much for these videos they really really helped me understand it more easily. I have a quick Question what if I measure something that's 5ft 4in would I just add on the inches after multiplying the 3.28?
Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it! When working with feed and inches, convert the inches portion of the measurement to decimal feet, then multiply by 3.28. So, for 5 ft 4 in - that's equal to 5.33 ft (4 in / 12 in per ft = .33 ft). Then divide that by 3.28 to convert to meters. That's about 1.6256 meters, I hope this helps!
