Your bad english is better than some native writers - no apology required. Your motor should be fine with that. I run 40 comfortably so I can't see 50 being a problem.

Good batch of vid's Rick , i too , strip these old pumps down & restore them when i get time . They are fun to bring back to life . One thing i have not found a good solution for , is reattaching the oval crest on the water box . They are originally on there with small brass rivets , but how you re-attach in the same fashion , i've some idea's , but they're not conclusive . Any idea's , ---- Thanks .

@@cyrilbrun8764 I've just taped over the plate in the past and painted the water box. One idea that springs to mind is to tap the holes and use brass screws/bolts.

What a great little video you have put together. Just what I needed. My pump's inside parts look incredibly like yours on the video. Our pump is a Fairbanksmorse model #41 made in Chicago. I have looked on and off for two years now and haven't come up with any repair parts. I suspect that some of these Duro parts might fit. Once again after doing an extensive search today for over 5 hours looking at the wonderful view of your parts you gave, I can not seem to find these parts anywhere. I cant even find the "ACME" company with that part number "50-13". calling around to the local hardware stores has also come up with nothing on the parts of the ACME company. Could you possibly give a little more info on these parts, maybe the store that handles them or the chain store that carries them. I'm leaning to think you might be in Canada somewhere (just a guess) and I am in the USA state of Utah. thanks for any help. Rex

Rex, the news is sad. My history of the company is incomplete, but they are no longer and the parts supply aren't around anymore. My solution, and how I ended up as a collector (lol), is to find old pumps on Kijiji (Canadian online marketplace owned by eBay) as donors. Your equivalent would likely be craigslist.org . The last idea would be to find a repair shop and see what they know. I've discovered that there are several people in my area who fix these pumps and probably have their own collections of parts. All the best in your new hobby! 😆

A sand blaster would be handy to remove that rust. When you get famous.

"When I get famous" 🤣🤣🤣. In the meantime I'm using some rust remover and an old toothbrush, and then rust paint. Stay tuned for E3 when it goes back together!
