great video and learned more combos. im still trying to get my cards for mermail main and extra along with a side. not sure what build is good for them and just saw yaccines build in his combo video. saw jesse kottons take on mermails that is different then most i saw . i only get so much money a week and can spend 12 bucks on ebay for cards or things a week inless big pay for cards again to get gaios .can't afford the mulcharmys and dominus impulse right now .looking for more options in place of them and spicy tech if any. today got my 3 pike , 2 extra copies of icejade ran aegrine so 3 i have and 3 armored shark but need only one of the card. i got 4 more things coming for them. saw icejade ran aegrine somebody is trying at 2 and unsure if that is good.my list needs tweaked for main , extra and side just unsure what cards yet.any ideas that be great for a build for them.

In the combo where we play through Imperm, the Neptabyss is a mandatory effect when it's sent by abyssrhine so we can't not activate it? Or am I wrong?

Im waiting for the new support to drop on masterduel, but toad is banned there. Do you know any replacements for them? I actually asked this from the previous mermail combo guide you made lol TLDR: Toad banned what to replace it with?

Note: There is a mess-up in Combo 2, although there IS still a viable combo, you just have to reroute the plays a little bit. Neptabyss is MANDATORY (I forget the atleans are all mandatory) so follow the combo, and when you send neptabyss off Abyssrhine, continue as follows: Neptabyss effect summons Shadow Squad from GY. Coelacanth discards to summon 2x Abysspike. Overlay 2 Abysspike into Bahamut Shark (specifically under an extra monster zone) and Summon Toad. Overlay Bahamut Shark into Xyz Armor Fortress and Detach to summon Armored Shark. Shadow Squad Discard Armored Shark to Level Modulate to 7s. Link Xyz Armor Fortress and Coelacanth into Coral Anemone. Coral Anemone Reborn Armored Shark. Armored Shark send a rank 4 of your choice to reborn Abysspike. Overlay your now Lvl 7 Shadow Squad and the last leftover Abysspike into Abyssgaios. Link Armored Shark and Abysspike into Mermail Abysslacia. Also note: If you have an additional discard here, you CAN instead xyz Poseidra over Gaios, then link Coral Anemone + Poseidra + armored Shark into King Neptabyss. Discard to summon back Armored Shark/Shadow Squad/Abyssrhine. King searches Triaina, and then you continue with the typical LeVirute Dragon plays and using Triana to secure either another rank 4 + Abysslacia, OR reborning Gaios and attaching via LeVirtue's effect.

I‘m quite new to the game, could anyone explain why neptabyss still sends for cost under an imperm? Can‘t the opponent just activate it in response to the neptabyss summon?

Just curious, but wouldn't it be better to protect the Icejade under Neptabyss since it protects all your other cards and you'll likely be tributing one of the two Toads anyways unless your opponent proceeds to the scoop phase?

You don’t need to summon engraver in the first combo. Link off I:P and Lacrima for sequence. Use effect to fuse, you have 4 targets in grave, so you leave Lacrima for follow up
