Honest opinion? People are spoiled nowadays. So many great performances from when people had no switchable presets. Having to stomp one pedal off and then stomp another one (or two) on, as fast as you could… the audience didn’t care about the latency. Watching guys like Hendrix and Townshend walk from the front of the stage back to the amp, to manually crank up the volume knob on it… the audience didn’t care about the latency. Live music never had to be perfect, polished, produced, quantized, pitch corrected. Why can’t we just let rock just be raw and real, and leave all that stuff for the pop singers with their choreographed dancers to worry about in *their* shows? 🤷🏼

I have to say, I love your comment. You're absolutely right. I use the Friedman IRX which has the same issues and I get around it. The audience don't know or care 🎸

I don't know much about the RC-50. Looks interesting. I do know that it's much bigger than the RC-1. Some people just want a very simple looper. That's why they're interested in the RC-1. The RC-5 is great too. That to me would be the next step up. Thank you 🎸

Great lesson today thanks so much ! I use the 3 note per string pattern as well as using the major scale pattern to give the framework to apply the corresponding tone in relation to the mode I am playing. I have used the pentatonic pattern and apply the proper notes for the corresponding mode in the past. If you are able to teach how you apply playing the changes to chord progressions using modes it would be helpful. Some jazz, blues, pop, rock , country etc.. I am new to your channel. You probably covered this topic. I will look through your videos to see if you already have taught this topic. You teach with clarity. I appreciate you !

Hello. I don't know the RC-30. I'll have to do some research on it. I do know the RC-5 has been great for me. Especially with the FS-5U foot switch. I like the fact that you can have 99 scenes with the RC-5 and switch through them in real time. I believe it's 32 bit which gives it a great loop playback sound too.
