I used to think that the Initial D TOKYOPOP dub had better voice acting, but after seeing it as an adult, I think they did Initial D dirty. I mean, some of the voice actors do fit the characters, in my opinion. Others were questionable. And of course the renaming of some characters. That was so BS. Then there's the stock music. There were also the unnecessary special effects if you chose the "Tricked Out" option in the TOKYOPOP DVDs. Once I actually switched the audio track to Japanese, that was when I saw how great Initial D was.
