What a great interview. I was looking for something empowering to view during this mentally exhausting election season and found this video. As a man, listening to this story is so wonderful because I have spent a life working to empower people, in particular, black women. As a Human Capital Executive, my mother's tragic story, migrating from being a powerful woman in her field to the depreciated state of drug addiction has been an inspiration in my work, even in corporate settings. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job with this interview and giving us a glimpse of the sophistication and complexity of black womanhood and success...

I absolutely loved her book and I’m so glad she shared her story with us. Her trials and tribulations were so relatable and I found myself really inspired. I saw my mom and grandma in her story. Separately, I grew up in DC and went up to BET often for tapings of Video Soul and had classmates who were part of the cast on Teen Summit. When she divorced Bob, I was always under the impression that she was simply his spouse and didn’t have anything to do with BET. I thought of that when she talked about being erased as that was the narrative I heard. She was absolutely pivotal to the network’s success and I wish we’d all understood that sooner.

my daughter won a trip to her Resort/Spa the Salamander in Middleburg Va and took me as her plus one…it was out of this world!!! what a gorgeous place!!!! Her resort is one of the most fabulous place i’ve ever visited!!!! every single detail of the Salamander is beyond stunning !!!!! She’s an amazing person!!!!!

Rena is my favorite. Very classy and professional woman. This company would be a powerhouse if Sherelle and Rena were the two that ran the business instead of dividing these two up.

This is the only reality show I watched. It’s positive, it’s minority women actually getting a legal bag! I loved everyone but would love to see Rena do her thang with possibly Anne-Sophie 😁

Man watch this last night and I was very intrigued!! Made me want to reactivate my license and get back into Real Estate. If I had a team with this energy!!! Loved it!!!

Rena will be much better off starting a multi-cultural agency with buyers that are business, tech-rich, not just entertainment and she can have a brokerage firm with several umbrellas under her firms such as closing attorneys and notaries. I am so tired of the business world being led by women still using sexy to get ahead but then they are quick to claim sexual harassment!
