You know, mentioning those other musicians as a way to uplift the Long Ryders really isn't necessary. In fact, for me, it has the opposite effect.

If Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had written this it would have been a monster hit. The Final Wild Songs box set that came out a while back showed what a great and consistent band the Ryders were. So many great songs!

Found this excellent band by sheer chance.

I go back and forth about which is my favorite Long Ryders tune. This one and I Had a Dream both have so much soul. They had so many great tunes that it is hard to pick favorites, but those two move me the most. Thanks for the video and music Prima. Criminal that this only has 295 listens after seven years.
