Opel cars are amazing. I have a pure stock 1998 Astra F, after having the first few maintenance service, it never required any major work at all for 20 years except a few the normal oil and coolant change. Never once it has broken down and often it reaches its factory top speed.

Opel Kadett E was Car of the Year for 1985, not 1984. As for MPVs, Sintra was indeed the first such model for Opel, but went almost unnoticed. The first really important and highly successful Opel MPV was the Zafira in 1999 and it´s not mentioned in the video.

Great and iconic germand brand. I hope Stellantis group, didn't end up destroying it... :( I'm a proud owner of an Insignia 2.0 CDTI ST and it's a great and comfortable car. Its aerodynamics (wow! I've read this several times) counteract its high weight, achieving good performance and very low fuel consumption. 175,000 km and only one breakdown (and not a serious one) in almost 10 years.
