And even if gas/fuel is produced sustainably its a huge waste of energy for the conversion processes which are not needed. This CEO is just as modern as Japans energy mix. Heavily outdated. Who can support/maintain a hydrogen fuel cell car, never mind a hydrogen piston engine car? Gas regulations are far stricter than for BEV and imagine one of those in an underground car park. Shockingly poor efficiency from a hydrogen piston engine, even worse than Fuel Cell means this technology is meaningless as we don't have anywhere enough energy to produce hydrogen in bulk so guess where it will come from? The oil and gas industry again!
