How’d you get a cab ride? Are you a volunteer/driver or fireman?
I recall taking that train to school, Banksia to Kogarah and back, would have been 1962 I reckon.
They really should give that engine a bell. It is American after all, and the bell would complete its look.
When you consider it ran in Queensland for its entire life and bells were not in use - it would seem to be a historical anachronism to add one now.
Bells are annoying and completely drown out the song of the locomotive
This definitely was for the original Epcot. It conveys all of what the city of tomorrow was supposed to be.
simply the best, using the turntable. I can remember seeing 221A hauling coal in the V hoppers up the grade Bundamba to Ebbw Vale. The engine really grunting it's way. What a rhythm at walking pace. Memories.
Same train same place
Great video
What’s with black smoke all the time? The fireman new?
Coal supplies vary in their specific makeup. Its more than likely this batch was a smokey one.
Being a toowoombarian and a train guy who specialises in QR, this is awsome to see
It would be pretty cool to have another World's Fair some day soon. Flushing Meadows Corona Park looks kind of sad with all the abandoned stuff. They should fix it up and have another World's Fair. It's pretty ironic when monuments for the future become abandoned and become a ruin.
This video was filmed the exact day I was born
Did it stop operating because of Covid alone ? I should imaging Public Liability Insurance would be astronomical.
I love 2705 :D
i love the whisle
Played in CA FirstAvengers
Love that song, what is the name of that song?
The name of the song is OL No45
I wonder if Picard will ever get to command the Enterprise D again, even if it was to be a replica.

When when I first heard this music, I wasn't really paying attention to Hollywood news 2009 to 2010. I remember thinking this music sounded like it belonged on the "Main Street" part of Disney World, and that Howard Stark had very strong Walt vibe. I thought I must be projecting. Little did I know (Sherman Bros) :)
I know, right? I was thinking more Carousel of Progress and Horizons.
@@elizabethwentorf379 as heard in the movie "tomorrowland" pleasqe bring back more sherman songs in new movies
@@ginauccelatore6430 It's actually an original tune by Robert M. Sherman requested by Marvel Films and modeled on his "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" theme he and his brother Richard Sherman wrote for Disneyland's "Carousel of Progress." th-cam.com/video/8FRyAh6a9zc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yHy3Lwp9bfHIsSc2
That’s a pretty sounding whistle. What kind is it?
Didn’t realize this song existed til I had Iron Man 2 playing in the background and the credits started rolling.

Jagdtiger or Konigstiger ?
Really enjoyed this video
Does anyone know? This music is played in ending credit from ENDGAME by trumpet solo. It makes me cry again. I can see how much the staff and Russo respect R.D.J. It is beautiful.
It all started with him and he played the character better then anyone probably thought he originally would.
oh I'm so glad not to be the only one THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST
