MTA 2011 2013 C40LF Tribute!
This is a tribute to the 2011-2013 C40LF for MTA. These eliminated the Orion V CNG from the private lines and their older 1998-2000 C40LF sisters. I personally think these buses are very good looking and was the only suitable replacement for the 2 fleets of retired buses and Queens, The Bronx and Brooklyn look real good with these.

MTA Orion 5 501 1998-1999 Diesel Tribute!

A tribute to the 1998-1999 Orion 5.501 diesels that served all 5 boroughs. They will always be remembered as the last Orion 5 diesels ordered by NYCT. They are now no longer in revenue service but 6000 is now preserved. Song: Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder

A tribute of my most favorite buses in the MTA. The NovaBus RTSs. I grew up with these buses on the B46 and i would always ride these buses all the time even after 2007 when my favorite hybird the Orion Vii NGs came in. These buses are still around today so ride these now because very soon they'll start retiring.
Orion V CNG Ex Private Lines Tribute

These were MTA Orion V CNG (Ex private lines) buses that were formally operated by Queens Surface, Triboro Coach and Command Bus company before the MTA took over all 3 companies along with their buses and routes. These buses are now retired. It's unknown if 9874 still remains at College Point Depot or if all are scrapped. In my opinion these were the best CNG the MTA opertaed and 4th best buses...
MTA Bus Orion V 5 501 101-184 (Ex Bee Line 401-484) Tribute.

A tribute to the Ex Bee Line buses operated under the MTA. Used to be 401-484 with Bee Line (their original owner) until being retired in 2009 and were planned to be scrapped. At the same time the MTA was retiring their TMC RTSs from MTA Bus and was having a shortage in Queens. As of 2017 the 2003 Orion Vii CNG are being retired due to the CNG tanks being expired and are being replaced by the XN40 (don't get me wrong i do like those buses). I've put together a tribute to remember these buses in the great service they provided for the past decade. 1:26 I have a question? What does it mean when it got a new body kit? Is it like the bus shell body is replace or something like that? like MTA 1995 Orion v bus 409 with a 1999 Orion v body kit. I am confused.

Sadly, all RTS busses will be gone in this year, new XD40's and LFS busses will take over these legends.

!!! A majority of these on the b4 line were replaced by thos blue new flyer busses !!!! I’m so sad right now!
I heard majority of them will go away in 2019 (definitely the 4000 fleets) and they will be completely gone in 2021 ;( Good video for a future tribute.

These are my favorite buses
Heh in my view are the best Orion V 5.501 diesel in general and the 3rd best buses in MTA. I find it ODD that the MTA saved 7 with 1 or 2 buses for Roadeo but not their own NYCT Orion V buses. Interesting.
