Wish they had done more/ I thought it was the second coming of Led Zeppelin/I think maybe Coverdale's more commercial leanings didn't sit well with Page !!!

I was kid and I knew this song was special.

This is actually an unfinished, unmixed version of the the final track. The drums, vocals, bass & keyboard tracks are final and appear in the final mixed version. It is missing the keyboard and guitar solo. It’s cool also because not only do we hear a lot of detail in Bonham’s playing, like the beautiful ghost notes on the snare, and hear Page’s layered rhythm tracks more distinctly, but we get to hear some pre-roll, and the entire outro that is faded out on the album. 😊

Ummmmm and this is the 4 of them recording live playing together in the studio or wherever this version was recorded. Damn! Sounds super close to the finished version. Incredible!

I always have given credit to so many bands in different ganerous (SP) But i always come up with LZ being the best band of all times.

This song is in honor of Robert Plant's son who tragically died at a young age.

I love this early version. Bonzo was on fire. From the 1974 sessions recorded at Headley Grange... 50 years ago.

The Rhythm guitar toward the very end of the song IS very reminiscent of the song Kashmir. It's NOT EXACT, but the riff is a tiny bit similar.

Their sound was truly of their own style and making! There could have been much more! Excesses do not mix well with FAME! Elvis has left the building!

A wonderful tribute to Robert's beloved son who passed away in 77. His heart never healed from that when another blow hit. His best friend died about 2 months after this was recorded in the passing of Bonzo. These are the reasons Plant ran away from Led Zeppelin for so long. The memories were clouded by the two biggest loses and his heart weeped.

I’ll comment nobody can duplicate this all things considered personal issues and these 4 guys are basically brothers and when together they gave the planet something that will never be repeated ever they gave us the best they had and it was how do you phenomenal I guess all they’re personal issues and then from 69 to 80 OMG forever I can’t pick anything in particular but I’ll bet everyone has a favorite I my self love it all I’m 62 and will say Achilles or No quarter and then Dazed see what I mean you can’t stop they’re just that Fn great to end this post listen to try I’m gonna crawl you wot be disappointed and if your amped up go for Seattle 3-21-75 and you will be very happy
