มุมมอง 4843 ปีที่แล้ว
Part II is here!!!! And it's epic. We left The Grand Canyon and booked it to Moab, Utah (5.5 hours) where we stayed overnight and then hit up Arches National Park early in the morning. Super hyped to check the Delicate Arch hike off my bucket list - it did nottttt disappoint! If you're showing up at Arches to do this hike, you NEED to get there before 7am to snag a spot in the parking lot. We g...
USA CROSS COUNTRY ROAD TRIP (Part I: The Grand Canyon, Mojave National Preserve)
มุมมอง 7563 ปีที่แล้ว
After four years living in Los Angeles I've made the decision to move back home to Maine for a while. I sold all my furniture, donated half of my wardrobe, and crammed everything I own into my car. In a straight shot, West Hollywood CA to Midcoast Maine is about 2,700 miles. With our incredible stops along the way we ended up driving over 3,600 miles, spending 58 hours ON THE ROAD, passing thro...

On the day in Sequoia we did: Gen...
KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK IN CALIFORNIA | Must see! Breathtaking views
มุมมอง 3.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Okay I have to be honest, I didn't know much about Kings Canyon / Sequoia entering this trip, and I was completely blown away by the scenery. We visited on Thursday, June 3 and had limited time so crammed both parks into one day, and this is Part I of the adventure. What I love about these parks is that so much is accessible right off the road or only a short distance away. I'm sure if we had m...
DISNEY DURING THE PANDEMIC? See what the park is really like in 2021 during Covid-19
มุมมอง 4113 ปีที่แล้ว
Had an incredible trip to Disneyland / California Adventure with my friend Kati (aka the Disney Queen) last week. We went on Friday, May 21, 2021. It was definitely a unique Disney experience as the park was only at 35% capacity, the lines and rides were spread out for social distancing, you're required to wear masks at all times unless eating / drinking in a designated eating area, and the cha...
SAN DIEGO DAY TRIP | My list of must-see spots!

San Diego is for sure one of my favorite cities. I love the vibe. There's so much to see / do and at least for me, I'm always in the best mood when I'm there. This time around I was visiting with some rough weather, but I made the most of it and still ran around town to do my favorite things. Wanted to take you along for the journey and show you some of my top spots in case you're wanting to vi...

New subscriber here! Moved to Idaho in 2020, I want to explore every mile of this amazing state
We are visiting San Diego in 2025 and really hope to try this......looks awesome!!!!!!!!!
really not so difficult, did it last year, age 68, moderate condition 3 take aways go slow go slow go slow, got permit for half dome this fall.. looking forward
The only truly “dangerous” part of this hike is the excessive amount of humans and the overly aggressive chipmunks. Party of four, only injury: a bite from a chipmunk. Please, don’t feed them!
If there is a woman out there with a better figure, I’ve never seen her. 🥵
Thanks for the ride Erika. That looks like some serious fun.
I'll have to put this hike on the list! What frame rate do you film in?
I'll be waiting for you trespassing aholes and will be pressing charges. Operators who fly in Sage East of Temecula... do not have permission to take of and land out here. You have been notified.
How did you know when to pull over for the hike on foot? Is there signage somewhere? What should I look out for?
dang double cheeked up😍😍
Awesome view I hope to get here someday! We’re subscribed!
I currently hike this trail every friday noon to 3pm, and she's right, its very steep, so some pointers: make super sure your shoes have a good grip on them, as you go up, if you slip and fall, get ready for some real rock and roll, all the way down! It gets hot right around this time of year, so get the hats out and bring enough water. Ive seen snakes out more and more, and they are harmless, until get too close or step on them, they will remind you to watch where you are stepping. About Dogs, she is being rather careless with her pets life, you let that dog loose off the leash and once it gets curious about the snake and tries to sniff it, and gets bitten, thats a dead dog, many get killed every year from confronting rattle snakes, so keep the dog on a leash or be ready to see it slowly die in front of you.
Big difference between skydiving and paragliding is your’re flying with a wing in a paraglider and just falling pretty much when Skydiving.
Loved it we just recently went and loved your video!
Looks great. We lived in Del Mar from 69-71, and don’t recall seeing them do this back then.
What was holding your camera??? You were not scared of it falling down or burning?
I've done this hike twice! My favorite hike! Can't wait to do it again this year!
Where are you these Days? Missing your Hiking Vids these days.
Fantastic trip! I definitely want to go to the Stanley/Ketchum area to experience the Sawtooths for sure. One area you must return for is the Twin Falls area, for Shoshone Falls and the Snake River Canyon. Perrine Bridge, which is over the canyon, is reportedly the only bridge in the US where you can baseline jump off the bridge without a permit. I vacationed there this July and it was an awesome trip!
everyone knows that the best resort is saddleback
This is awesome! Which GoPro accessory did you use to film so you wouldn’t lose it? I’m looking at getting a GoPro and also trying this out when I visit soon!
Sweet flight!
That sht is insane 💪
LOL good job! Usually people use crampons (instead of the microspikes) when they are climbing straight up icy snow like that (which have much larger spikes) to make it a little easier to keep traction. Glad the fall wasn't too bad, that narrow spot is notorious for injuring and killing people during the winter because of loss of traction.
i herd a lot of people are moving there
Too many. 😕
We moved to Maine Oct 2022 and I'm very excited to start hiking. I'm very out of shape so I'm going to stay with the shorter hikes for now. I live in Androscoggin County and we love this state!
I wonder if the owners of those multi million dollar cliff side homes realize their houses will be laying in rubble down on the beach in less than 25 years?
Thanks for Sharing, just booked a Hot Air Balloon ride with my Husband in Temecula for our Anniversary! Great video, can't wait!
This looks amazing
I can’t locate this on all trails. Looking for a day trip from Kennebunkport that has a little elevation. Visiting for 3 days w teenager sons. Any suggestions?
It's too bad they had to seal the door for the powerhouse and also clean up most if the abandoned buildings there
Wonderful video, and thanks for giving me a small tour as I'm flying up with my cousin in 2 weeks from the Washington DC area(Silver Spring, MD)for a 3 day stay. Any tips or nuggets on where to eat and hang out after a day on the mountain, I'm all ears? Thanks in advance if you respond back 😊
110% recommend this..awesome crew an what got me was how respectful to the wild life (birds) on the river the driver was ❤
Yay so glad you thoroughly enjoyed too! It was the best time
Nice hike! 😊 Grew up in SoCal and only hear about this now 😢
One of my favorites to date! Definitely check it out!
Thanks for sharing. Definitely on our hikes to complete. Trying to get an idea of what time of the year was best since we have our pups. That one very very very slim cliff you showed has me rethinking about taking them. Maybe we will see each other out there one day :)
Would love to run into each other on a hike someday! I would definitely try to avoid snowy / icy conditions with the pups and you might not be able to make it all the way up with them due to certain sections like you mentioned but the first half of the hike and maybe even longer I’d think would be great for them!
It’s only 4k elevation hike
Hiked the Middle Fork Trail to Cucamonga Peak many years ago; CP is my favorite summit among the wild Southern California mountains.
Absolutely stunning up there!!!! I want to go back
Thank you!
Of course! Thank you for watching!
<3 I live just outside of Bangor...do you have any over night or 2 day backpacking trips (40-50 miles) you can recommend?
Hi! Thank you for reaching out! At this time I’m not sure of any as my hiking has taken a back seat to other things since moving back to the east coast but if I hear of any I’ll certainly pass them your way. Happy hiking!
I been there Christmas it’s crazy now the lines but good experience
I love Idaho and your video just made me love it THAT much more!!
You have well developed lower body and thighs
You’re absolutely beautiful
I was honestlyexpectingmoooreet|||tttts
I used to hike up there in the 80’s & 90’s. Supposedly there was a pet cemetery up there. Never knew if that was true or not… 😂
The Brand family cemetery is there. But not on this same trail.
i love your toned legs! 😍
I went to the old zoo as a very young child. The new Griffith Park Zoo was built and ready by ~1966. I lived close by and jumped the old zoo fence in 1969 with a friend to see the place. It was very creepy. A lion had killed someone who had gone into his den. Yeah, a stupid human who should've won a Darwin Award. Obviously, the lion was then euthanized later. But his den looked very spooky. To be in his home where he killed someone. The story was reported in the local newspapers. Now, only a remaining part of the old zoo remains. It is very ugly and tagged by cholos.
I did that hike once ~10 years ago. The weather can change dramatically at any time. Be prepared. Don't wear sneakers or athletic shoes. Wear boots and gloves. And if you are scared of heights, do NOT take this hike. It is foolish to take the hike just to take a photo to show on social media. The NPS should use permits to control the number of hikers allowed on this trail.
Please be careful hiking on that trail. During the warmer months, there are rattle snakes around there in the brush. My relatives knew the Brand family. He flew airplanes from an airfield on the property.
05:19! 😮 I would never put my feet over the edge like that!
Hahaha! I don’t blame you. For some reason I’m weird like that and always feel the urge. I oddly love the feeling
@@EJAdventures You’re crazy! I have total anxiety of heights (rocks) so I don’t think I could do this or Half Dome. Two summers ago I slid four feet off a rock ledge at a waterfall and sprained both feet. I haven’t been the same since then.
@@stephenn77 ahhhh that is so scary! I’m so sorry that happened to you!
