little hint: martha, the wife(?) of talberg´s innkeeper, buys everything. she works at the inn and can have a low ammount of groschen but after a few sales, it increases to the point you can unload all loot on her. dlc time, nice!
Interesting, thanks for the heads up! If I see her I'll definitely try to set that up~
14:16 boar is glitched. You have to find indentations in the ground that look like a pond/lake was there. Then you need to be close enough to it to register your presence. Than you do a 360 and boom! Boar spawn. I know a good spot but idk how to direct you towards it. 15:22 i think you just get some hunting exp. Its very small. 23:49 nuuuuuuuu! Thats valuable speech exp! Speech is the hardest thing to lvl! 25:43 even if you yourself dont read them you still get reading exp. 37:24 you only need 1 to progress but you can still talk to the other 2 for more speech exp. 58:28 in most of my playthroughs the women often enter the home and start chatting. Its strange. 1:04:43 i already saw someone tell you. You missed out on a great cut scene abd event. Hope you look it up or save abd go back.
I feel like I haven't found any worthwhile skillbooks in a while, and I can't be bothered to level my hunting for it, lol The good news is, I did double back for the cutscene I skipped!
@@KarstAttempts hoorah! All is well.
regarding moving loot: every home you have (Rattay mill or inn you buy a room at) shares storage, so you can easily go to the nearest town buy a room at the inn and then dump it all there only to then travel to Rattay and get it all back. on another note Runt is technically the only needed kill in the entire game and there is even an achievement for finishing the game killing only him
Ah, I should probably take advantage of that chest more often! Intteresting about Runt, I guess some folks try for the pacifist route~
33:50 You met him during the end of part 3. He beat you in Skalitz before you were taken to Rattay 40:25 And yes, that's the guy from the very beginning :)
Yeah... I remembered who he was and the events that happened, but completely forgot his face, lol Thank you for commenting!
Well then, no more Runt🥸that was a decent fight. Not sorry though, Rest In Piss. Totally the right thought on playing the DLCs you have right now before going through the rest of the main story, since all of them quests are kinda connected one way or another and make pretty no sense after the certain events (no spoilers). And also, the job Divish gives you up in Talmberg can really help with spending the amount of golden mountains that Henry's earned, so it's even better xD not a peasant anymore, great success.
Runt got what was coming! I feel Henry overreacted a bit but the stolen sword has sentimental value, so fair enough... I'm glad to hear there might be a way for me to actually use my gold! Thank you for commenting~
I'll hold my tongue in case you can talk to that guy again. I'm surprised you're not given a do over. Losing the tournament happens. I look forward to your first win.
I did get a second chance, much later!
8:16 the first time i did this i had my horse in here and Theresa could literally never reach me. Things got awkward as the horse showed up in the following cut scene. 11:22 game teaches you history and how to make babies. Its great! Peshek is deaf as hell tho. How does he not know? 32:15 i have faith you will but you need to be more defensive. Unfortunately master strike is a hard counter to being aggressive. 34:32 heads up. Even if you stand perfectly still if npc walk into you itll count as you trampling them and your rep goes down. 1:18:31 youre too nice. So long as i get something out of it ill do it. Helping people is very chivalrous you see. 1:31:48 i still wonder why i should be suspicious of Zmola. If youre suspicious enough you could go into the mill early and jail both.
It was raining, he was probably in the main house while things were happening, lol If someone walks into the horse and I get fined, that would be pretty funny!
9:41 fyi, poison wont kill. Theyll have like 50% health left then they go to sleep. Youll need bane instead. That will kill. 15:11 i enjoy putting arrows in their ass if theyre running away from me. Makes me feel like a hunter. 25:59 i was so sad to see that. This is why i dont horse at night unless i see a road or know theres no cliffs. Ive fallen off the slightest cliffs while running with my horse. 31:33 rain man comes in more handy than you think. Especially if youre wearing plate. I adore crouching xhameleon. You can pull some fun tricks with it. 33:03 this is what annoys me about this quest. You dont need skalitz rep. You should be 90-100 already but you lose rep with rattay guards which is vastly harder to gain. 41:20 this is what tipped me off. That and Antonia's husband died. On my first playthrough. 49:42 you got so damn lucky. I would not have taken the risk. I honestly like the dice game. I just wish it didnt take forever. 51:53 i think i already said it but if you clear all dice you can score and roll them you basically get a second turn. 1:21:52 notice how its blinking? Youre getting multiple sets of cash based on your performance. You messed up by talking to the guard. You get 5 sets of 75 and one payment of 100 for a total of 475.
Never be worried to sell in this game and don’t forget you have a chest at the mill that I’m pretty sure will keep the same items when you open next to a bed in other locations
I'm just a hoarder (in game), lol Yes, we have shared inventory between 'home' chests, which is nice - I would have thought Hardcore would remove that feature!
Writing the amount of money you have in the game is confusing,But it's a good game when you understand it.
I'm quite liking it!
19:36 This is the best way to boost maintanence. Repair weapons you take off bandits. Maintanence has a few nice perks. Dmg boosting and for stealth. Its not really resetting. Its more like your holding a metal stick to a rotating stone wheel. Its realistic that the sword will move. 27:36 game makes it way too lucrative to steal. I started my first hardcore playthrough. Itll be a plate armor run so sneaking will be hard. The goal is to reach 100 rep with everyone. Aside bandits, steal nothing. If theres the option to not get rewarded, choose it. However, kill everything that attacks you or inconviences you. A no mercy chivalrous knight. Itll be glorious! 33:14 i just stealth kill them. So long as the executioner is fine youll pass the quest. 44:14 you can coat your bladed weapons and arrows in various poisons but ive found its not tyat helpful unless you pick perks for it. 47:01 Brute. Always brute. That bonus carrying capacity alone makes it worth its weight in gold. 51:52 you have finally aeakened your own breaking bad adventure. Nice! 1:21:38 you need to master strike more. You also need to stop attacking unless its after a master strike. Master strike is too strong in my opinion. It hinders combos, feints, and perfect blocks. 1:24:16 She couldn't handle the water carrying job so she made no money. If she was carrying shit her husband is alive and you could give her a bucks potion or boji rage potion and shed be fine. You can give her husband a Lazarus potion and he gets better but this ubruptly ends. Theres no follow up. Edit: you can see her being the last one to bed on most nights because shes so slow carrying shit. Literally 2300 and shes dropping off the bucket and then heading to camp to sleep. Its quite sad.
I've only ever done alchemy like twice after this lol, I usually don't bother with crafting and alchemy much in games I seem to mistime my master strikes a lot of the time >< Feels bad about the lady and her husband, but I tried my best and at least she's still alive with a job...
My husband played this game, and I see it and I'm also playing it now. I restart the game 3 times BCS I was defeated by that drunk man at first village. I'm still on the early stage but I kind of getting the hang of the game hahaha I love it so far. And you're doing so good on the battle, do you have any tips for me as a beginner?
I also lost against Kunesh at the beginning, so I wouldn't worry about early losses like that! A lot of it is patience, and make sure you train with Captain Bernard to get Master Strikes (and skill level ups)! It's really quite fun and rewarding once you get the hang of it. Thank you for watching and commenting! I hope that you can share some great experiences with him~
14:05 im surprised you waited so long to go learn to read. 17:11 hes supposed to be in the stock. You waited too long to deliver it. Hes only in it for a day. Got you a funny cut scene tho! 20:26 Al Buraq is the coolest looking of all horses. Compared to the best horse youre losing 2 speed, 16 carrying capacity, 2 courage, and 40 stamina. Your losses are mostly negligable. The stamina might be a thing for long journeys. 24:10 Ginger can be literally anywhere over that entire yard.i found him by chance eating by zora. 51:54 sometimes i dont even know what tye interesting sight is as well. Its not always clear. 1:03:12 its a medieval times thing. Horses wore the colors of their riders allegiances. 1:15:05 persuading him only drops the crime. People will still remember you comitted it and guards dont like crooks. You should try to boost your rep with guards. At least in rattay.
See I would have gone to read early on, but the scribe had the severe disadvantage of being in the same town as the next portion of the main quest xD I tend to avoid anything related to the main quest if at all possible, as you can see
7:33 youll notice thats a big problem in this game. Nobody has enough money. Thats why i only unload on Peshek. I didnt think it mattered but if youre curious...... Riding Jenda is like riding a trash monster left in the summer sun covered in wet onions and bread. You get very dirty very quickly. Everyone will keep saying you stink. 29:47 Youre a God! I had no idea this was possible as is! You lose so much time going on a wild goose chase! Well done brother. 43:12 you have to run from them. If youre fighting against them youll be seen as a brute. Its very weird. 44:38 Hyuk hyuk hyuk. 1:01:50 look how he looks at you. Acting like hot stuff. Punch his lights out! Yeeeaaaahhhhhh!!! 1:04:04 its exactly as you said. Henry! You live here! Where are you going!? Im guessing they dont want to tip off peshek. Coming home together at night is scandalous.
That does make sense! Thank you for your comments, I really appreciate them. It really makes a difference knowing that people are watching and enjoying 🙏
good strat in doing the camp cleaning quests. haven´t done in my 1st play and regreted it. with 3 tiers of enemies/gear on the camps around rattay/talberg/sasau, doing this sequence of quests trains the player on combat, fills hal´s pockets with groschen, gives a lot of levels AND builds good reputation! had fun with the 1.8k arrows? wait for the guy with 35+ swords!
I uh, haven't run into the guy with 35 swords yet, but I look forward to meeting that legend! The natural progression and difficulty spike does seem like a good way to ease the player through the combat throughout the game! Thank you for commenting, I appreciate you !
49:00 mutt does get attacked during fights which is why i dont yse him anytime theres more than 2 dudes and when hes hit enough he runs away. 53:04 Joker in the distance: id laugh if it wasnt so sad. Oh what the heck. Ill laugh anyway! I thought so too bro but sadly theres nothing here. I guess the bandit loot is the reward? 53:23 head shots are 1 hit KO unless they wear a full helmet. 1:17:06 instant transmission horse is hilarious. I do get what you mean about being watched. Sometimes i hear voices that clearly arent henrys. Hisses mostly. 1:26:38 now you know why i said this'll be a disaster. Im curious to see what your result is after you said its a surprise.
Nice TAS Joker quote, lol It's a bit weird sometimes that you run into heavily guarded areas with nothing to show for it...
I have a theory. I think Herman agreed to helping the millers test new hands. Think about it. Herman is an executioner. Hes forced to live alone far away from the town. Nobody wants ro talk to him and he makes great money. What if he reburies that guy and keeps a useless baubel around just to be able to see new faces? You saw how jovial he was after you send him to the miller? The millers dont have to pay him, Herman is a great test, and Herman gets new company for a time. The rumors around Herman makes him seem formidable so it tests courage. He has 5 dogs so it tests ingenuity. Digging up a body tests your morals while stealing the ring from Herman tests your stealth. Its also an infinite source of tests. Everything falls into place!
He's also actually a pretty nice guy, all things considered!
5:17 there it is! This quest has a tight timer. Going from rattay to the outer edge of skalitz and back to the monestary is a Herculean journey. 12:03 just curious...... Why didnt you murder the cows right in front of the monastery? 36:45 infamous is outright better in every conceivable way. Rising rep faster and lower jail penalties are way better than whatever non sense local hero gives you. 1:04:12 i really dont like Johanka. 1:07:40 That was impressive. Well done soldier! 1:19:13 the dogs are unbelievably annoying. If mutt doesn't occupy them youll have a hard time. If youre good with head shots you can kill the ambush guys without trigger the ambush.
Murdering cows sounds like a crime, lol I have Skyrim ptsd, farm animals get you killed
@KarstAttempts only if you get caught soldier. ;)
11:18 Oh my God..... I hope you figure out who this Pilgrim is and why this quest makes me laugh. 36:29 there he is! What a goober! The voice actor goes ham with it. He is absolutely the jester who probably found a blacksmith and told him to make a sword for his queen (wife) who happens to be named Sheba. 58:52 this drives me nuts in the game. It's either a very slight color change or a slight design change. All of it is very hard to notice. 1:37:47 No first aid 3, no lullaby, no 100 cooked beef, and no comfrey prepared ahead of time. This'll be a glorious disaster. Thank you for the entertainment brother. I say this respectfully btw. I know it's a blind playthrough. 1:43:12 I get she's stressed and overworked but my goodness johanka! Pull it back a little. I'd get being upset but you're becoming..... due to TH-cam censorship..... a bully. 1:57:39 usually I have lvl 12-15 herbalism so my grab range is huge. Takes like 7 pickings to finish it all. I can't imagine doing this with low herbalism. 2:00:33 Wild Thistle appeared! 2:07:38 those guard horses are super ferocious. I'm glad he doesn't have one of those too!
I literally picked every weed by hand, lol For the Skalitz refugees, I had the intuition that this would be a timed quest! You'd be surprised at the result I got :D
10:24 Potions are strong but typically unnecessary. My favorites are: Nighthawk potion: seeing in the dark without a torch is super good for sneaking. Especially stealth killing camps. If it's raining you literally can not see anything. It's the worst. Not that raining at night is that much better without this potion active. For best results use with: Padfoot potion: Mainly for +5 stealth. The +5 lockpicking and pickpocketing is neat but I never found it useful. Bard and Amor potion: +5 speech and charm respectively. Good for passing those high requirement pesky checks early on. Dollmaker potion: I use this to fight strong foes early. Poisoning opponents is typically unreliable so I have 2 weapons coaxed in it. The opponents combat abilities (sword, axe, unarmed, warfare) -5, stamina -50%, and they can't sprint or jog. I won't go over every potion, play with them at your leisure, but these are the ones I use every run. 21:47 hope you try buying multiple nights at some point. 27:28 live and learn! Hanging onto the edge of tomorrow! My worst case of mispressing the button is the one time I collected a mountain of stuff to sell to peshek. He had 80k on him and I had 60k worth of stuff. I could easily get 68k to 73k out of him. What do I do? Just sell without haggling. It was painful! 30:29 they're not. Peshek only cares about Woyzek near him and Simon in Sausau. It'd be cool if the flour guys were a secret Mafia but it is what it is. The other millers are cannon fodder. 35:08 I mean..... There's a stranger standing on your property. Wouldn't you investigate it and watch him in case he's a crook? 36:01 it's better than that. Not only did your rep get hit with him but the whole village and guards. Crime is serious business. Nobody likes a crook. 42:24 also known as the drug skill. God I hope you drink a witch's potion at least once. 1:07:12 in my fervor to exhaust dialogue I hit the Rattay hanging option figuring he'd tell me to buzz off. Instead there's a speech check and he just let's you take the cuman. We get to pesheks mill when the cuman says "money. No Rattay. I show you". He takes me straight to the treasure and I still take him to Rattay and get extra coin for it. What? He's a savage and deserves it. 1:26:40 idk how you got both to give up but youre too powerful for this world bro. 1:34:47 if youre curious you lost 800 groschen (900 if you turn the cumen into the bailiff) and iirc a weapon and potion.
I've not found a reason to stay more than one night at a time yet... nor have I found the urge to drink any witch's potions... I must have gotten lucky during the battle for them to both surrender at the same time! I'm not sure how it got triggered, I assume calculations are always running in the background...
@KarstAttempts Give it a try. You'd be surprised what buying multiple nights at an inn does. Hint hint nudge nudge wink wink. If you do find a witch's potion, give it a whirl. What's the worst that could happen?
I wake up in a bush with a missing kidney? lol
32:36 Imo you are. I like the combat in the game and I enjoy that enemies can use your tricks but that also makes fighting aggressively bad because you get master struck so often. Combo skills (which you haven't learned to do yet so you can't use them) need all parts of the combo to be used or the skull doesn't go off. 36:52 occasional hit box shenanigans. I usually only see it during the tournament too. 47:43 head cracker is disgustingly good. You can do some whacky stuff with certain weapons due to the way they counter. 50:24 exactly what I was referring to in my first few comments. Read the room. Who are you talking to? What is their station? Disposition? What is the conversation about? Where are you matters on occasion. I look forward to see your progress in this front. I started commenting when episode 25 was out. 57:27 it's a sweet cut scene and Herman is a great dude. Love the character. I will NEVER use the other option. Tbf they spoke early on and she just spent a lot of time here. It's also the middle ages. It's easy to die so there's always some lvl of urgency.
I pretty much never go with combo skills at this point - I'm not memorizing the strikes and needing to chain multiple hits that can just be master countered by enemies doesn't sound wise... Hermann is great, I just wish that NPCs still interact with you in some way after their quests end...
Enver? More like "End and over" 👍 Also, "excavates his nose with a crayon" 😆
I wish I was witty enough to string together words like that!
@@KarstAttempts A lot of times I like including stuff like that in comments and seeing people's reactions. It's a fun meta/mini-game.
You're not going to play Blue Shift and Opposing Force dlc's for Half Life?
Honestly, I didn't know those existed! I suppose a revisit is in order~
14:54 i usually pick race horse because (cant tell you until i catch up). Traversing the land faster comes in handy. Fyi, im gonna comment as if the episode just released. I can't be bothered to worry about the other 20 episodes out because idk what content they hold. I'll cross that bridge when i get to it. 22:36 i like mutt but id be lying if i didnt say he is incredibly annoying. He always gets in the way. 41:41 bodies despawn when you sleep, a certain amount of time has passed, or there's too many bodies in the world. 52:55 the correct answer was "lap of luxury". Then "Theresa makes my head spin". You can't do this again so might as well tell you the correct answer. 55:49 it's kinda sad that nightingale doesn't talk to you afterwards. He seemed like a character you greet everyday. 1:19:24 worse. He searches you, your horse, and your chest at home. That's what i call govt over reach! Hyuk hyuk hyuk! 1:34:39 journey to the west begins? Wonder if you're going to meet a monkey man with spiky gold hair? 1:46:27 remember this conversation for later. Not because it's important but because this whole thing is funny once you figure it out. 1:49:34 He told you. Hes too smart to be a soldier so you offended him. There's no way to know. You had to say "theres no job for real/strong men" to get away unscathed. 1:53:00 i love the way he says "double" and how at the end he says double like shaggy says sandwich. Complete with smacking his lips. 1:57:16 since you can't undo this, I'll tell you that your choices aren't optimal. Antonia should carry shit. It's easier than water. She complains about how hard it is to carry shit and you have to give her a potion. Water is worse in that case. You'll lose rep for it. Kornelius isnt a bad choice. You wont lose rep but you cant invite him to the dlc "from the ashes". Tonda is now forever screwed. Good end but not great. You couldn't know. I know. Just telling you what could be since I doubt you'll be playing the game again for the channel. Great episode bro. Looking forward to more of your grand adventures in.
Yeah, I wish the quest NPCs were more than just one-note characters who don't interact with you again afterwards. Unfortunate about the water quest >< Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you're enjoying the journey!
Am I free from no comment limbo? TH-cam marked me a spammer so from now on I'll just make a mega comment. Not commenting to boost your videos felt so bad. 1:19:15 it is..... Bottom left corner. It shows your groschen.
Ahh, youtube AI as usual! I did eventually figure out the groschen counter~
When u went to meet peshek for winnings, u accidentally hit theresa with horse & she was calling henry clumsy idiot & insulting henry tat he doesn't know how to ride horse, i was like lol i am like henry is ur lover & she hasn't even been on horse.
I probably should have been more careful around her though!
Henry betrayed bianca & now theresa..!! 😞😁
I blame Henry for that one...
3d time for poor theresa: with vera (married) with barmaid with stephanie (married to a lord)
The barmaid was in an alternate timeline, that one doesn't count! I had to look up Vera to see who that was, lol I never got the alpha male buff after, I don't think that counts! I blame Henry for that last one...
@@KarstAttempts "had to"... sure... hal, you dog!
I feel bad for captain robard for stabbing behind his back. He was one tat helped henry in skalitz when he was in bad shape. I wish the game allowed to sent few guards when taking care of bandit or cuman camps as henry is inexperienced & is blacksmith's son.
Robard hasn't betrayed me... he gave me the warning that others didn't return and I still went out to take on the mission - I know what I'm signing up for!
Sorry! I was talking abt Stephanie's husband abt the betrayal. I got the names mixed up, it was Lord divish.
@@jacobshaju3215 Ahh, yes I still blame Henry for that one!
Have you ever played the long drive similar
I haven't, I don't think Survival games are my kind of game...
@KarstAttempts I. Don't think the long drive is a survival game
I laughed a little when you tried to equip the dagger. You wont be going Raphael (TMNT) in this game. I hope you learn its automatic with stealth kills and yes, Theresa learns to stealth kill here. I love stealth kills. They're so fun. 1:14:24 tbf he deserves it.
I like to think that this DLC was my tutorial to the rest of KCD!
nice to see you don´t get frustated with the bugs and running around with a billion quests in the log lol! follow you guts, don´t worry too much about having it all, it´s medieval rpg, after all. people would die of old age at 35, so i´m all in with hal-does-whatever he feels. armor, money etc, will come naturally. it´s just that the game got a steep learning-leveling curve, from lame hal to jock hal. but once you got there, like +15 strength (with strength-based weapon), henry becomes op even against multiple heavy armoured enemies, as you already noted during the tourney.
I come from a multitude of Bethesda games, bugs and quest logs won't phase me too much, lol I'm sure I'll get to that strength level eventually! I appreciate your comment - thank you for watching ~
@@KarstAttempts since you did stick with hardcore, the lack of fast travel kinda forces the player to fight a lot while crossing the map meaning more fights, meaning more leveling, more money... you gonna be hulk-hal in no time. don´t know if you accept tips, but when looting you´re missing some peculiar itens that may interest hal, the rat. itens with very low noise and conspiciouness that can be collected in a outfit appropriate for rat activities. some silent shoes and black pants, black shirt, black hoody etc, hal becomes way stealthier... for exemple, there is a certain black gambeson with above-average defense/charisma stats but with very low noise or conspic. i have seen your pointer pass by many of those already. do consider having one, even as regular gambeson...
Ahh, I thought I was doing okay just by taking my gear off, but I'll consider finding a separate set of gear for sneaking activities...
@@KarstAttempts it builds itself, just keep a eye on the diferent clothes´s noise/conspic stats . you´re rigth to assume being naked makes you more conspic. but with a discreet outfit it goes down. like those silly capes people wear on rpg that makes them vewy secretive. some pieces even give some charisma on top on low noise/conspic! than hal can be a lupin-like fancy thief!
51:45 it is a legend. A certain group of people love pushing degeneracy. 53:14 it is true. Sperm require cool temperatures. As it gets colder outside your sack gets closer to the body and as things heat up the sack goes hanging. The part about women isnt true tho but its the correct pathway to learn about gonads. I work in a hospital caring for patients btw so I know a few things.
41:49 youre correct. You keep nothing theresa gets. At most you can get henry more speech exp by doing everything because he asks about it.
I think the only thing Henry got out of it was the shield as a reward for playing!
39:52 she sounds like a God damn southern bell when she says "oh my (pause) gaaaaaaawwwwwwd". I dont think they boost skill check requirements for hardcore.
Tho the dlc filled a lot of holes and expanded on characters it's a bit rough and jarring.
1:27:07 for the record these videos are long and I have the memory of a good fish. If I don't comment my thoughts then and there my thoughts will be lost to the sands of time. Hope you're not too annoyed by my tsunami of comments.
I did type good fish. Like Goodman and goodwife.
1:09:50 God I hope you get first aid 3 asap.
I got it eventually!
58:24 idk if you've ever tried to sell stolen goods to normal shops but they say no, you lose rep, and sometimes they call the guards. Enjoy!
Yeah, I've tried to avoid selling flagged goods to anyone outside of Millers~
49:37 this chest doesn't require lockpicks. You can train on it multiple times to earn some lockpick exp. It's good to train on it.
Ah, I never really spent time with it outside of the tutorial, lol
Idk if youve tried already but shave and haircut changes your appearance. Your hair doesnt grow out. Try it!
When you open menus, talk to people, etc while mutt is trying to eat you cancel the food command. This is the kinda stuff id like to tell you about alongside the speech stuff if youre cool with that.
Another warning. As you play the game you will get free perks. Theres an item that resets perks. Using it means you will not have the points to get all the perks you had before. Its a bad oversight but be warned. Might be a good idea to exhaust all doalogue (until it stops being white and turns grey). Speech is VERY difficult to lvl up. You get a miniscule amount simply by hitting "talk" to people. You get more listening to White dialogue. You get the most passing speech checks but the speech option has to be chosen. You get no speech exp doing threats or charisma options even tho sometimes those are the best options. Fyi!!!!! Your speech/charisma/threat lvl is NOT the only things you need to worry about! You need to determine the best path determined by the situation youre in, who youre talking to, and finally your skill lvl. Please tell me if my tips are unecessary or too much btw. I love the game but theres nuiance it doesnt teach you. For example, you could have a threat lvl of 20 against someone whos threat lvl is 10 but you fail EVERY TIME. Why? Because youre talking to an angry drunk who lost his son and you entered his home (not treapassing) while his wife is sick and he doesnt know who you are. He cannot be threatened. Ever. Edit: using the bard potion to pass speech checks lowers the exp you get for speech.
Hmm, I wasn't aware that using the reset potion would remove the additional perks, that's useful to know! Though, I'm a point hoarder anyway... It's funny how I've never actually used a bard potion to boost speech outside of the DLC that one time, lol I'm ok with general tips since I'm fairly deep in the game now, but I like to try and figure things out for myself when I'm first starting new adventures!
@@KarstAttempts Well said. I'll try to keep future tips to stuff you either finished or will never figure out yourself because glitch or game is bad at letting you know.
1:08:23 This nightmare sequence tends to be buggy. You can beat those guys, rather easily, and then you're almost stuck. You're expected to die. Rarely does it let you go if you win. It's possible but unlikely. What I do is knock out the two people, rob them, then use the nearby stair well to keep jumping until I die. Yes, you keep the things you stole from the dream people.
15:48 I hate and love that about the game. The world is pretty and not every plant is usable in real life but your first time through when you don't know what plants Are pickable is SO infuriating.
Starting a new adventure can be quite overwhelming, for sure!
Oh my God..... Youre not done playing the game. Thats why you made that X emoji. My sincerest apologies. This game is 6 years old so i figured everyone i watch playing it must be done with it. Ill keep that in mind for future commenting. Theres only 1 spoiler free advice i have for you right now until i catch up. DO NOT accept the quest "Sheep in Wolves Clothing" before "Hare Hunt". If you do a glitch happens where you will see a star on the character who gives "Hare Hunt" but that character will NEVER give you the quest when you speak to him for the rest of the gane. Conpleting "Sheep in wolves clothing" will not change this.
That's okay! It was pretty clear foreshadowing after all. I hope that you enjoy this playthrough as I discover more about the world! I'll keep the tip in mind, if and when I come across them - I won't know the quest triggers or NPCs, so we'll hope for the best! Thank you for watching and commenting, glad to have you here :)
@@KarstAttempts commenting is good for the algorithm and I enjoy your commentary style. Hopefully this pushes your stuff to more people. With how saving works in this game you're right. I'm too vague. Ok, the NPC name is Andrew. He's Bald, has facial hair, and has a yellow hood. He's the owner of the tavern+inn between neuhoff and talumberg. That strange "town" that's super small by the forest. It's called something like the inn by the glade. I'm sorry but I don't remember the exact words he uses when the dialogue option shows up. All I can tell you is he will be talking about runaway sheep and ladies of the night. It might be a good idea to start Hare Hunt as soon as you can. The inn keeper in Talumberg will tip you off that Nicholas the Huntsmen is having trouble with poachers. That'll be the one. This quest is special. It can diverge into another quest if you choose to pursue this path. This is your playthrough so I think I've hit the point of "if I tell you anymore I'd literally be spoiling". All I'll say is exhaust your options. You know a path ends if you're asked to report to Robard or to meet up in a clearing in the woods. The choice is yours brother. Enjoy!
I appreciate it, thank you so much!
Once you learn to synthesize cockerel potion you never need to sleep again. If i decide to do hardcore the sleep ones seem best.
Interesting, I'll try to keep that in mind!
I never did hardcore but here's my guess. The game loves RNG. What if it rolls a dice to determine if you survive your youth or not? Kids tended to die easily back then you see. So it keeps going until you don't die. Each death grants a Debuff. So you winning the third roll only get 2 Debuff. Gratz!
I think it's a representation of how difficult it was back then. It would be really interesting if the number of deaths at the start are all based on RNG! Thank you for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!
Wow. They literally spoil the ending to the side quest: gallow brothers. Thanks MOM!
:x
the lords of leipa set is amazing as a full set, well worth competing more to get
Ah, I'll keep competing if I happen to be in town!
@@KarstAttempts you can talk to the guy you sign up with and get room and board until the next tourney, skipping time to the morning the next one is held
I kind of want to play through with some natural flow, instead of grinding everything out all at once >< I suppose I could do it offscreen...
@@KarstAttempts "I suppose I could do it offscreen" don´t! winning gives some extra dialogues with friends. they will be all like "look at you great champion" and such
Interesting, thank you!
