It was so cute when he said vegetables.
I assume the questioner is asking about whether employees should get a playstation within their companies. Socialists usually believe personal consumption rights, that constitutes your personal property, are almost entirely up to you. The only large role would be whether workers in an entire federation choose to produce it, based on the relative wants of consumers--basically, a more socially conscious form of suppy and demand. No socialist, whose not insane, believes other people get to tell you how you want to exert your earned consumption rights amongst the products in an economy.
When Saddam was in power there was no ISIS.
In a social democracy, nobody would care about you having a PlayStation or not, it’s just that income and wealth inequality would be lowered and there would be more sustainable growth
Cool. I also watched Home Alone. 😅
Bro’s sharing his Pink panther knowledge
Wait til you see my Kwouk technique.
Then you forgot about it…
😅😅😅
This will get sideshow Bob again…. 😂
The Roadrunner used this on Wile E Coyote
Anvil tied with shoe string!
Iron pan machete, fighting stick. Pot bull
Loser. Disliked and not recommending
He learned this by stepping on his own rake.
😅
You got this straight out of a cartoon 😭
Which one?
UPS man gonna sue you
She’s chill.
Home alone technique??
🕷️
Addiction technology has been studied extensively by the NIH to be a serious issue. Taking the time to make a decision about whether you need a PS5 or not actually may very well teach someone to think about what they are putting in their minds.
No thanks. I preffer the store
As a fellow socialist, I agree with Richard Wolff.
AMERIKA have a hearing problem. Socialism is a tradition of society!!! Change. There is 5 definitions of socialism.!!!
Socialists are just too honest. „You have to struggle a little“ is just bad PR. Just tell the people „yes, everyone gets a PS5, You don’t have to pay for it, no more console wars, no more confusing different setups, just everyone has a PS5, wouldn’t that be nice?“
yeah wolff seemed to misunderstand the question, he seems to be answering the question of "how do i get a worker cooperative to manufacture PS5s" vs "how do i get a PS5" and by the way yes, under socialism you don't have to ask a committee to get things lol that's not how it works
Socialist here. Nope.
St. Mother Teresa was a woman who started off with incomparably fewer privileges, fewer resources or education than the militant atheists Hitchens and Chaterjee who attacked her character using half truths and pure speculation. Half truths do more lasting damage and are actually worse than blatant lying. Hitchens knows this being a journalist who smoked and drank himself to a early death. But Mother Teresa still managed to successfully spend her life helping people to the best of her abilities in conditions nearly all of us would flinch from during a time when HIV/AIDS didn’t even have a cure. How much time did Hitchens spend with the poor and destitute in India? Exactly!! But she’s conveniently portrayed by lefties such as Hitchens as a wicked medieval-ish Albanian, so she gets tarred as a “fraud and fanatic” just because she doesn’t share Hitchens left wing Trotskyist politics - right? By contrast Mr. Hitchens, whose hatred of religious expression and perpetual aggression led him down the Path of No Return as far as public ethics are concerned-the “War on Islam to civilize them” is hailed as a hero by self obsessed edgy militant atheists - right? The irony and the absurdity, of course, is that it’s common knowledge that in the end the virtue signalling Christopher Hitchens actually became an enthusiastic apologist for the dirty deeds of the American empire AND ACTIVELY PROMOTED AMERICAN INTERVENTION IN THE BALKANS AND MIDDLE EAST- yes? …in Christopher Hitchens own words… “The crucial thing is to be willing and able, if not in fact eager, to kill them without pity before they get started.” (Christopher Hitchens). Yeah makes great “sense” and perfectly “sane”? Hitchens definitely has the “moral” high ground on everything because his verbose language, posh English accent, rhetoric and cherry pick fallacies equals “TRUTH” with a capital T? It's that last phrase “K.ILL THEM WITHOUT PITY BEFORE THEY GET STARTED” that's particularly chilling!! Reference: ('The Age' 5th September 2002): I rest my case!!
"the same way you do with democratic decisions now...". So I vote for someone weathy every 4 years who promises me the newest PlayStation 👍
So no
So in other words, no, you wouldn't be able to have your PlayStation. FiveYou would be expected to sacrifice that for the good of the party. It would definitely also wreak questions about your loyalty and dedication.
Why bro confusing personal property with private property
Which speech or debate is this from ?
When you think that there are more stars in the universe than all the grains of sands on Earth. It kinda begs your question as what other potential civilisations beliefs might be. One thing is for sure is that it won't be Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc. Hopefully if they're more intelligent than us they will have done away with religion altogether.
Fetishizing democracy to the point of absurdity
This is “their” guy? This is what they have to offer, huh. Wow. Imagine being this underwhelming with two (or whatever) PhDs. Meanwhile we got Ludwig von Mises, Thomas Sowell, F.A. Hayek, Walter E. Williams, Murray Rothbard, Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk, Carl Menger. List goes on.
that was really good, I can really hear your amp rumbling and your tone sounds great with those ending chords in tune!
Everything I need to know about socialism can be learned by playing Disco Elysium with level 6 Authority and Savoire Faire.
In other words. Only the top brass of the organization will get the ps5 😂
Ownership entails the right to sell to whomever one chooses, so if capital is owned by the workers, then the workers have right to sell it to whomever they choose, possibly resulting in someone other than the workers owning the capital. Why do some people believe no worker or group of workers would ever choose to sell the capital they own? And if the workers are not allowed to sell the capital as they see fit, then they don't really own it to begin with. So who really owns the capital in this scenario? The state owns it. That is why this proposed system is necessarily totalitarian.
SOOOO PRETTY AND SOOOO SWEET!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Just like Saddam the tyrant, this American general himself is a tyrant
Can’t believe they cropped a strong independent woman from this clip, smh
Aw I’d rather get a PS5 than democracy.
I'd rather get herpes than democracy
This is how I'm gonna explain socialism to my kids😂
The difference Saddam was a leader of his country and you are a criminal!
All that for a console with no games :(
So in Basic English, No.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
‘How do you lose weight when you have to’ Answer: he doesn’t lmao. Not since the 70s
This explanation sucks, even coming from a socialist myself
The reality is that he explained it pretty straightforward, if there is any better explanation it’s going to be very sugar coated and digestible.
@@xKarma_411 no, he explained it really shit. "How do you buy a ps5 under socialism" "With money you get from work"
@@TheRealCptObvious1 Richard Wolff is an actual Marxist/socialist and is proposing how it will work within an actual socialist economy, where unions packs rule the distribution of wealth and group intrest among workers by democratic process. What you’re proposing is not a complete socialist economy but a Capitalist economy which already offers consumers individualism*-Something that goes against a socialist economy by actual socialist eyes. You’re either a socialist or capitalist. There’s no in-between. You can have socialist characteristic within a capitalist economy but you can’t have a capitalist traits within a socialist economy.
@@xKarma_411 there's still basic purchasing of goods under socialism. Under socialism, which will be a system that varies from society to society, there will still be basic buying and selling of goods using money you made at work. I know who Richard Wolff is, and this makes him seem like a socialist boomer.
@@TheRealCptObvious1 Purchase of necessity goods YES… Purchase of luxury goods most likely NO. Socialism in its fundamentals goes against hyper-consumerism due to individualistic consumerism practices.
If 51% of your coworkers dislike you, you get NOTHING! 😂
That was some of the old venom that 1970’s Foreman displayed in every fight, when he let the beast in him get out once again, grown men got punched to their knees.
